Money or pleasure

I would love to know how fellow members here think. I'm 99% sure i'll never be hungry or homeless, i currently earn money both online and offline, i feel safe. I'm kinda leaning towards enjoying my every day for less money, and feel that less stress is my thing.

Opinions please. Are you hungry for social status,fame and approval, or addicted to your inner peace and serenity?

The perspectives are going to be based on where one is in life. At 24 I was fine with working my fingers to the bone and dealing with all manner of stress to make as much money as possible.

At this stage in my life, I push away any work that is going to cause me the least bit of stress as I have a couple of dollars in the bank.

that's what im working too anyway, my goal is too blur the line between work and hobby, as well as making good money from it.

I'm happy for you. However its natural that hobby-jobs earn less because more people want that kind of thing, tilting supply/demand balance. Video games industry for example.

I have purchased 3 real-estates in last 5 years, and they are all rented. Its not as expensive as in US , but rent pays them off in maybe 8-10 years.

Real Estate is one of the best things to get in. I'm planning on getting a fourplex in a few years to live in 1 unit while renting the other ones out.

Completely true, but I can't get into a career where i dont completely enjoy what i do.
Now that doesnt mean I dont plan on having another form of income or two either.

You may not care for that arrangement unless you are a savvy landlord.

Tenants are tougher to manage if the "rubber meets the road" guy is on site.

You may be able to kill it but typically it makes your home a tad uncomfortable.
