Can my Facebook page get penalized? Or a better question has anyone's Facebook or other social media page ever been penalized?

I mean like maybe you commented too much with sites that use the Facebook comment plugin.

or can you spam your social media link to hard?

Your facebook page can get penalized, that's a fact. Facebook does the most checks on page about info, posts and description. Keep them nice, don't make your posts look spammy or point to spam flagged domains.

Likes and comments on my FB page posts were spammy but I never got any of my pages penalized. I don't know exactly what you do so I can't tell you if you're safe or not. I hope this info helps

How do you mean they were spammy? They were fake? Generated by fake FB accounts?

Im talking about off page SEO. This has nothing to do with Facebook Mods. Im just using it as an example. Also, im talking about pointer to your Facebook page. Not things on your page or linking out.

If that's the case, you shouldn't worry. Just don't spam too many comments and use FB graph API to make comments visible to search engines. That way you can be able to keep your website and FB page safe while you have a great advantage for ranking.

Generated by creating a FB application. What the app does is it accepts users and then from their profile it sends likes, and that way most of the likes come from authentic profiles. I didn't go too far with that idea since I never needed more than 150 like boosts per post.

You send the likes instantly or in intervals? Also, when you send the likes, I guess they're all coming from 1 IP (the web app IP)?

Not exactly, likes came from online profiles that gave my app a permission. Since they're online, they are using their own IP addresses. They don't recieve any notifications about it, but they can still see their auto-likes when they check activity log.

I can get the likes instantly or in intervals of my choice. As long as I have those online people who accepted the apps terms. App was well hidden on FB and merged into environment of apps with similar names (my app used fake name, something like a global brand for example).

Yes, that is correct. If the app gets 2000+ users then you can probably send at least 100 likes at any moment.
