Seems like every dropshipping store I check has terrible reviews, which makes sense due to the nature of China-West shipping.

Anyone managed to turn it around?

Dropshipping from China has and will always cause problems. People may say its no big deal but it is. Payment providers hate it, you basically risk your PayPal account every week, the customer satisfaction rate is way lower than with normal shipping and so on.

However, if you do your best its still something that can work for quite an amount of time. This requires several things though:

- ALWAYS use a delivery method with tracking, don't dare to miss on that
- Rather pay a bit on top and have 12-20 days instead of 35+ days
- Be crystal clear in ALL your policies
- Refund over Complain -> if someone wants to have a refund because delivery takes ages or something is wrong with the product, just refund and move on. So many dropshippers tend to forget in which situation they are. They are selling stuff they never saw before and never tested and claim its super high quality and delivery takes ages and they expect the customer to be a super patient, always-smiling payer. Be cooperative with your refund policy and you can avoid a lot of trouble

A lot of it comes down to the shipping times. Taking time to find the right supplier that can ship in reasonable times with tracking info will reduce a lot of the complaints. I think the aliexpress method is a quick and dirty way to jump into it and test markets/products but if you want to start a sustainable business you'll need to move beyond that. If you can identify a profitable market or product and then use a fulfillment service that would help things, however that introduces cost and risk which is what most dropshippers are trying to avoid.

Absolutely agree with this
