Hi everybody,

I am trying to find out if my strategy for good rankings is something very common or not. I am surprised how good it is. And it is dead simple.

I use sape links that I point at 1st tier natural or PBN links. The only condition is: I pick PBN (of mine) or natural 1st links that have 1 to 3 OBL, with one of them pointing obviously at to the money site.

Do you guys do this too ? Is it that easy ? Did anybody got a penalty doing that ?

The only thing is: you need to have to spend at least 300 dollars a month for sape links. I spend like 1800 dollars a month with sape links for several client projects. Needless to say that they pay me much more than that. I am thinking to double the amount of sape links for even better results.

Just let me know...
Thanks

What do you mean? You point the sape at PBNs / Web2.0 Tier 1 links instead of directly at money site?

Yes, exactly. in order to protect my client's website. But i pick 1st tier links that have 1 to 3 OBL in order a good part of the juice gets transmitted...

#mangoodi: it is both a question and an assessment. It works very well for me, but I also wanted to know if someone did something similar and got a penalty or very good results.

#tradizions: why is it pointless if I get paid 8 times more than my recurrent link costs ? My clients sell between 4k and 15k a day additionally thanks to these juiced up links.

Any other bhw member willing to give its opinion about that ?

If your PBN isn't found out, you're mostly safe, though the PBN sites will probably get penalized.

If the PBN is found out, then your money site follows.

@cx3571 the general consensus with SAPE is that it is damaging, doesn't work etc.. But, it's hard to say. I for one have never tried SAPE because I am scared as fuck, Lol. People have done case studies here that have not shown good results, but it may be that it is very hard to pick good SAPE links.

So tell me, how do you audit your SAPE links? How do you select them? Are they english language or foreign? Do you point them directly to your T1 or through 301's? Also, I have heard of contextual SAPE links. Do you have any idea how to get those? I bet those would be killer for sure!

Looking forward to your response!

Thank you bartosimpsonio for your comment.

And what about if I place this kind of links on NATURAL 1st tier links with very low OBL ?

If the PBN is found out, then your money site follows.

Is that the rule 100%? I mean, I heard people saying that out of their 30 PBN network 3 or so PBNs got penalized but woul your money site actually get penalized for only 3 links?

Hell, would your money site really get penalized for having a 30 PBN Network found even if you have 500+ Referring Domains and 3k+ Backlinks from Non PBN sites?

You're right, the right answer is "it depends". I'm assuming his whole strategy consists of this PBN + SAPE.

If you're a site like Google you can point all the SAPE links at it, and it won't be penalized. So you're right, it depends on how reputable the site is.

For $1800 a month, you'd be better building and managing your own quality PBN .

Thank you Deadjoe for participating to this thread.

Here is what I would do for a new project:

  • I order 50 sape links with a minimum of TF20
  • Out of these 50, not more than 5 or 10 should russiank links
  • I point them at 5 to 10 1st tier natural links pointing at my client's or money site: which means that I juice up 5 to 10 other websites that point at my money or client's site, with a few links only
  • Important: each of these 5 or 10 other websites must have less than 5 OBL
  • I always use brand or URL (never keyword not because it doens't work but in order to reduce risks) of the websites that point at my client's site as anchors

Conclusion: if my client's website has like hundres or thousands of backlinks, and only 10 of them get juiced up with strong sape links, the risk to be caught is propably extremely low.

I hope my explanation is clear enough. Otherwise: just ask me!

That's awesome, you should start a SAPE service here - People will flock to you if you can really make this work.

Btw.. Do you analyze the SAPE links before you buy them? Like do you manually check those sites for spam, bad link profile, OBL, what other sites they are linking to?

Thanks for your detailed response. I really appreciate it.

Maybe. But bear mind this:

  • checking the OBL of the existing natural links of my clients takes me 2 minutes with the right tools
  • ordering quality sape links and pointing them at these natural links costs me an email with basic instructions to send
  • having them pointed is not longer than 1 or 2 days: I just wait
  • I can ask my providers to remove a link I dont like (spammed, russian, low TF...) and replace it with another: 1 min of work
  • total of work is... just a few minutes that can make an e-commerce selling 3k or 10k bucks a day additionnally. Speaking of pareto...

Yes: 1800 a month is pricey. But I have control over the links. Which can be very helpful in case of penalty or should the client stop paying me. I can remove them and stop paying for them from one day to the next. It is called freedom! :-)

Parallely, I always build a few PBN links on top. 5 properties maybe. And I point also some sape links at these 5 PBN links. But PBN links reinforced by these links are a small part of the job.

  • There are already several people here selling sape links
  • I ask for good quality links with high TF: broker know exactly what you expect and provide most of the time good stuff
  • I might not like a few links because of spam, russian or low TF: I simply ask them to be replaced by better ones

for 1800$ you can buy tens of thousands links, how do you manage with that, as you said, 5-10 for each pbn link?

@askary: you are right: I have to reformulate.

With 1800 dollars a month, I rent roughly 1000 sape links. These 1000 links are beeing used for 10 SEO projects. I use some for one big project like 400 links, and the rest is splitted into 9 other projects. For some projects, I am using 20 links, for some others 100.

Let's take as an example one SEO project for which I am using 50 links. These 50 links are pointing at 10 different websites, that then link at my money / client's site. Having 10 websites that don't belong to me juiced up by 5 sape links each with brand or url anchors, I believe it is almost impossible to find any footprint.

as i undestood you buy mostly homepage links?
do you buy links on hacked sites(with unvisible links)?

Yes, homepage links with possibly TF 20+
Yes, these links are probably on hacked sites. Not everybody agree on the sape links: are they hacked sites or part of a huge rebuilt site network in hands of a few people only ? I don't know. And I don't care. Bottom line: when you have 50 homepage links with TF 20+ pointing at 10 1st tier pages that have 1 to 3 outbound links that point at your money site page that you have previously optimized (image, text, tag, UX and loading time), you have to reach top 5 on Google.
