for music channels

I started making remixes and SEO is probably not an option since there is a shit ton of other channels doing the same thing and popular songs in general are hard to rank for

Reddit hates self promotion
FB groups are all spammed to death

What are some other ways to get my music out there?

Try making an insta account. you can upload like quick 1 min teasers of your remixes. I have a friend who made a custom bumper sticker with his username and believe it or not it gets people curious and theyll check you out.

Hope it helps. goodluck!

Reddit hates self promotion

Reddit hates financial success by other redditors....If you're making money from Reddit, they will fuck your eyeballs out.

That's why marketing on reddit is surreptitious.

I suggest you look at www.reddit.com/r/hailcorporate for ideas....some brands are killing it on Reddit....but it's 100% stealthy. If the crowds find out you make a dollar, they'll lynch your ass. Redditors don't like profit or sales, they want everything for free.

PS. You can market your music in there, just neve rlet them know it s yours.....you gotta put up a whole theatre. If they find out it's you and you're getting known, they'll destroy you.

SEO for music channels is 100% an option- I do SEO work for music channels all the time. What genre is the song? Probably multiple genres, like for example, trap and dubstep. Lots of different keywords to use for music genres, such as "trap music 2017" and "best dubstep songs 2017"- think about it.

The goal isn't to rank right off the bat. The goal is to have videos gain views over time to build up some channel authority and a small viewer base that you will get guaranteed views from.

Have u even tried a different approach? Such as pretending to be someone sharing a video?
