Lately I've been seeing a huge amount of t-shirt ads on my Facebook page. All usually related to shows I like such as Walking Dead, Game of Thrones and games I play such as Portal, Overwatch, BF, etc...
I figured I can do this too. But before I waste time and money, I would like to consult with you guys:

1. A website I found named Teechip is an "upload your design and we'll ship it" kind of thing. Is that a good website to go with?

2. My design will be Game of Thrones related. Will my best way to advertise this would be via Facebook?

3. How much money will I need to spend to bring in the first few sales?

4. Why is the "This offer will end in X time" a thing? Don't people who do this want better sales by keeping it visible? Or is it just a trick to improve sales?

5. Facebook ads of shirts I saw have one of the stars of the show wearing those t-shirts. It looks real, like they came to a studio and got a few pictures wearing those t-shirts. I highly doubt they did, but just to make sure, is it just a really good Photoshop work?

6. I have a design idea. How do I make it an actual t-shirt design? Fiverr? Any other platform?

7. Are there any other stuff I need to know that I didn't ask about in this thread?

Thanks everyone in advance!

Why not scrape twitter for game of throne fans, then use twitter software to follow/unfollow method. When one off them follows back have a thank you tweet mentioning the person followingg you with a link to your t-shirt mentioned in it. To me, that seems more like a cheaper way of advertising than paying FB money. Or do both.

There are several such as redbubble and teespring, google around and see what works best for you.

It's a way but you'll need to put a lot of cash up. You might want to consider approaching admins of GoT fan pages.

It is to motivate people to buy it then and there rather than planning on coming back to it later and forgetting.

You can find these photoshop templates for free

Try the 'Hire a freelancer' and graphic design sections of this forum. There are often people talking about T-shirt designs.

Thank you guys for the helpful comments.
