DIY Tier Backlink Building vs Back link Tier Packages

Hi all

I was wondering if someone would mind helping me out with a question.

Note: I am fairly new to IM. I have a good idea of the workings of seo and back links but looking for some advice on my first sites.

I have a few amazon affiliate sites in the making and was wondering what the best method of back link building would be. I am torn between building my own tier, purchasing hand made web 2.0s then pointing some blog post to them then mass back links to the blog post. Or my second option is to buy a pyramid tier package on BHW.

My instinct is saying diy as this is likely to be higher quality? However could work out more expensive than package which secondly could be more beneficial since its a package by someone who knows how to do back linking properly.

Sorry if this is a dumb question I'd just really like to get my IM adventure off to s good start.

It could, in theory, be of better quality if you did it yourself. Especially in comparison to buying some links off Fiverr.

If you go the DIY route, you need to source which platforms to build the links on, create them all, add different anchor text, etc. This can be very time-consuming and then you still need to source someone to build the tiers for you. Having said that, I do think manual is the best way to go as you know exactly what you're getting and you can pick and choose your own platforms to build links on.

I don't know if you are familiar with PBN, in a nutshell PBN is a collection websites that have pre-built quality and clean backlink profiles.

From the point of view of your money site these backlinks are Tier 2.

Money site <- PBN site <- backlinks

There are multiple advantages of PBN compared to buying packages from service providers or even doing it yourself.

You can check backlinks manually prior to buying the domain.

Building hand-made web 2.0s is a promising tactic as well, however, I wouldn't recommend spamming it with mass links (sorry but it is what it is) post Penguin 4.0.

Thanks for your detailed response. I've got a DIY PBN sites thread by lightningblitz that I'm going to read. Most of the KW are low comp. So I'll probs build some web 2.0s and build them up and send quality links to them. Bhildong PBN sites is something I'm interested in doing long run so I may look into it down the line.

These days with all Google algorithm changes Its better to have your own set of buffer sites between your money site and backlinks. This was if something goes wrong you can drop that buffer site and remove links to yr monetary site. Then can build a new buffer site using same content.

is there any issue with using the same name/email/hosting service with a churn and burn site as well as your other long term safe/white hat sites?

I would in the beginning start to try out everything for yourself. You'll learn a lot about backlinks and that is important in the beginning. You'll not be able to make effective decisions about the backlink packages you buy if you do not know exactly what you need and how it should be build. At least read about different backlink techniques and learn what each type of backlink means that you understand what all the different services here have to offer.
