It varies from client to client because there are so many variables: other linking you've done or are doing, keywords and competition, onsite optimization, keyword diversity, and much more.
We usually see the best results after a month (or a little longer).
You can check out the graphs we posted on the previous page to see good examples of the time frames it can take.
