My monthly £80k+ site is at a holt .. need HELP!

Hi everyone, as you can see I'm a new user here and proud to be apart of it.

I have a question and looking for some good pointers/ideas and if that someone can come up with a good enough idea to make this work then I'm happy to split the profits.

Monthly turnover of my 4 sites combined is around £80k but my supplier has finished and my business has come to a stop because supplier isn't available anymore and I no longer have the payment gateway in place so the idea would have to be kinda legit in someway.

In brief; I'm ranking top of google for four different products but all in the same markets, I get around 50/70 sales a day combine. I was wondering if there was a way to somehow make money from this still by doing something else..and that is the idea itself.

What I have been thinking of is silly things like, before a customer enters their billing information they need to complete a servery "and here's the catch" ... when a customer goes to checkout, they fill their details in like a normal woocommerce checkout-page would being, email address phone number name etc etc. Once they done that they then go to a page where the site makes them to fill a paid servery and then once finished they get transferred to a page where they can select websites that actuary sells the products. So I dont take any payment or payment details just make customers fill a servery out and tell them we dont sell anything here we provide websites and information on HOW to buy and where from etc .. It's funny to think of it but what else can i offer because I have no supplier and there is nomore suppliers in UK because its banned.

So what I'm basically saying is I have no stock anymore but a lot of heavy traffic each day probably around 700/1000+ visits a day and they just leaving the sites because they cant buy anymore. i've been thinking of ways to take money but am completely out of ideas and this paid servery thing was only option but due to the markets im in no one really wants to work with me... Market is sleeping tablets and traffic from the UK and about 100 all over the world.

Anyone come up with something worth trying at least?

I hope to see some cash coming from them again real soon - maybe not as much but something could pay the bills with effortless work.

If i understand you right these sleeping tablets are ilegal without receipt or without governmental approvement ?If yes there is a similar product which is legal and converts only a bit less.

Btw your idea with paid surveys is a bad idea.I guess you would make peanuts compared to selling a real product with high roi

Surveys, maybe, but it's not gonna generate much I don't think.

Can't you get the product anywhere else? Or can't you get commission for redirecting the traffic to somewhere that does still sell them?

Yes, rankings still there and have been for the past year and is only increasing .. have done no seo its all organic. My competitors dont talk to each other in this game due to the high risk so the commission idea wouldnt work and as for finding new suppliers would almost be impossible at the quantity i would need of such products.

I was doing this on a monthly basis and pulling in around £5-8k extra a day for the next 3-4 days after a discounted email campaign to the past 30 days ago orders. This wont work for me now because I got nothing to offer.

Just another long person talking rubbish. This is why I'm not interested in finding new suppliers its not good for the business. Everyone says "yeah I can sort the supply out" never hear from them again .. cracks me up.

Anyway, look as if I should delete the sites and forget about the firm?

Off the top of my head...

For 80k+ a month, I'd find a new source—even if it meant schlepping the countryside of some Asian village.

Assuming you just don't want to work hard, I'd say just convert the store to an affiliate referral. Like where the 'Add to Cart' button is now, add a 'View Price' button that just sends the user to an affiliate site that offers the product.

Paid Surveys is a horrible idea, adsense would be a marginally better idea, and some sort of email reminder signup for 'alert me when back in stock' kind of thing could work as well.

I'd really work on finding another source though, or contacting manufacturers about making your own. 80K is 80K.

I'm with @judaculla on this one... at least collect the emails for now until you either find a solution or another way to monetize the traffic. Since you are located in the UK and can't legally ship the items, maybe it's time to outsource that part to someone not living in the UK? Find a partner that can run everything on his name from outside the UK.
Are you competitioners still selling these? When they found a way, for 80k/month you should be able to find a way too...

Defo go for a new supplier. I'm not sure the type of niche you are into. Your product has around a $55 worth so it should give you enough room to find a new provider.

youre just going to lose all of your traffic if you try any of your proposed ideas. the customers will know it turned into a scam website.

The best thing you can do is to offer them a legal alternative. Tell them that the product is now banned in UK because it has many side effects.. bla, bla, bla.. But now luckily you have a similar legal product which is even "better" and much "safer". All natural but very powerful..
