How do you diversify links in this day and age?

So say I want to point 10 powerful PBN links with exact match or "near exact" match anchors at a page of mine.

I need to maintain an exact match anchor text ratio of 1%, 5%, 10% or whatever, depending on the source. Let's take the aggressive 10%. This means I first need to have around 100 other non-exact match indexed links.

How do you get this amount of indexed links with a reasonable amount of effort?

A few months ago, I ordered a diversity package for around $100 from the marketplace - checking it now, half those links don't even exist anymore and of the ones that remain, only a fraction is indexed.

Using RankerX, I can create around 150 links on premium platforms, but after building a tier 2 and putting everything through an indexer, only a fraction of T1 links are indexed.

PBN links are almost always indexed, and so are multi-page unique-content high-quality Web 2.0s, but creating 100 PBN or such Web 2.0 links just to be able to get away with 10 exact match links seems overkill. Or is it not?

Would some kind people please share how they diversify their link profile before firing up the powerful links and, importantly, how they get those diversity links indexed?

Thank you!

Think small... if you built 5 links to each blog post you write and promote the posts on social then you are going to be far better off than dumping a load of links on the home page. Most of the time what you want is traffic to the leaf nodes of your website which is typically where conversions happen.

I still use social bookmarks, blog comments, and forum profiles/posts. Only manually created and not spun since they're linking to my money site. Not very powerful links but they're easy to index and helps with diversity.

Rule No.1 when it comes to links

If they need indexer, you don't need them.

Rule No.2
The more you think the less you know

Rule No.3
PBN is not P(private)BN if you bought these at any kind of Marketplace

Rule No.4
Diversifying is not needed when links are real or look like real.

Blog comments on niche relevant sites. Doesn't matter if it's nofollow

I always love to read your post, post more!

Better to focus on getting or developing a handful of quality links that will last than throwing cash at crap that, as you have found, is worthless.

I get some nofollow links like social signals and blog comments.
The only problem with that is that nofollow doesn't go towards overall anchor text profile.

Response to OP. Make sure that they are ******** if you want to diversify anchor.

For local you can get citations, than index those citations.
Do some quality blog commenting on relevant sites.
Get some forum profile links on relevant sites.
Get links from relevant directories.
Get a bunch of social profiles created.

Seo is dead.
Why bother if it's dead since https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/ranking-is-dead-google-2009-changes.38245/?

Thanks everyone for your input!

I'm linking to leaf pages mostly. But that doesn't solve the issue of anchor ratio, does it? I mean those 5 links you build to each post, they can't be all exact match, can they? Also, 5 links may be far from enough to rank that page anywhere useful. What sort of links and with what sort of anchors do you suggest creating?

Just buy some cheap PBN links at the marketplace and use generic or naked anchors.. You would be fine

That's definitely an idea. Thanks for this. Have you had any bad experiences with this approach (penalties etc)? I guess it's a bit more dangerous than the "usual" diversity links such as profiles, Web 2.0s etc.

Okay, so most of your diversity links are nofollow? I think it's almost unreal to find niche relevant d0f0llow comments on pages that haven't been spammed to death.

I can see what you're saying in terms of link power - a link that needs an indexer is virtually useless for juice. But don't you think that these kinds of links still help with diversity which would allow you to use powerful (and costly) links more efficiently?

Rule No.3

Heh, yeah, I understand that.

Rule No.4

Well, frankly, to me, very few exact match links look real. No real blogger links to some random affiliate site about blue widgets with "best blue widgets reviews" as anchor text. Do you not use exact match anchors? Or what exactly do you mean by "look real"?

One interesting question that I see emerging from replies so far is whether nofollow links are counted towards the overall anchor text profile. Some say yes, some say no.

Blog comments on niche relevant sites. Doesn't matter if it's nofollow

I get some nofollow links like social signals and blog comments.

Have you guys successfully used nofollow links as the only type of links for diversification and avoided getting a penalty from anchor text over-optimisation?

The only problem with that is that nofollow doesn't go towards overall anchor text profile.

So why do you think that nofollow links don't count towards the overall anchor text profile?

Links come and go, they won't always stick 100% of the time, that's why it's an on-going process.

The marketplace is full of whatever links you want, so it doesn't take a lot of brain to diversify - just choose different packages, vary your anchor texts and that's it really.

Just because it's nofollow doesn't mean it's useless. It just doesn't pass link juice so there's no reason to build tiers to it.

Google, Ahrefs, Majestic and Moz all recognize no follow links. So I don't see why people think they don't count towards your link profile.

Yes, I understand that. But the main issue why I raised this topic is using those few quality links to the max - which is, by using exact match on them. If those few links are the only links you have, you can't really do that.

Sort your backlink profile by anchor text and take look at your competitors profiles by anchor text, analyze your anchor text distribution- i would use blog comment for links snf make your link anchor texts looks like your competitions.

Ahhh you're seeing throughthe veil pf bhw marketplace. All that glitters is not gold, especially if it has to do with sherlock or lady gaga to get you interested LOL...

Anyway, there are web 2.0s, guest posts, article sites (NOT Ezine) whetr you can get links published. Then use those and blast them with cheap pbn links, blog comments, gsa, and then blast those gsa links with more gsa links. Seems to work for now.
