Hey everyone..

I have an Amazon Affiliate site ready to go, it has all the pages created (with no content) and all the basics built out.

What's the best way to link to amazon affiliate products?

When I use the affiliate "Text & Image" HTML Code and place it into a text box on a page - nothing shows up.

Sometimes only the purchase link will show up as well.

Any ideas? Would anyone be open to having a 10-15 skype conversation regarding this kind of stuff?

Thanks alot everyone!

Ps. I've seen websites like runnerclick.com that have insane product pages with awesome links/images/etc... Ideally, I'd want my site to look like that, but I'm very open to just learning the basics of how to make a product link that doesn't look like total shit..

Currently running the NewsPaper premium theme as well - thanks!

I use the shortened links with 'check Price Here' text. No need to overthink it.

I'm sorry I should have verified - Let's say my page is "Sweaters"

On that page I only want products to be listed, similar to [sweater 1] | [sweater 2] | [sweater 3].... Etc, and in those I just want a square withe the product image, a click price here, button, etc.. How can I build that out? Basic wordpress? Would I need to utilize WooCommerece for any of these?

Sounds like a plugin people use to create tables. Most likely a premium one but probably not too expensive.

I have experience in writing article for amazon niche sites. If you feel you don't have enough time to write the articles, you can hire me to write for you long term.

Well i get paid every month without fail. Users are made aware the links are affiliate links by the amazon affiliate disclosure i have.

I would not do that. People report being banned for not being clear enough that their users are being sent to Amazon

Do you have your disclosure on the front page in a widget or a separate page about affiliates?

I have it on its own page. And i link to it from the menu so that it can be accessed from every page on the site.

I use the top menu which has my contact, about and privacy policy pages. My main menu is solely for the main content. You could use a footer menu also. It would depend on whether your theme allows you to do that.

Ok cool thanks. I link to a page also in the footer menu. Wanted to make sure I wasn't breaking some rules.

Got any examples/source? I've amazon disclosure in footer and a menu at the top on everypage, that should be enough i think

There was some guy on BHW (can't find the thread now) who received several checks from Amazon. One month when he was about to receive a really big one, Amazon banned him. Other users reported they had been banned because of not being clear enough about sending their users to Amazon. This has nothing to do with the affiliate disclosure. Just because you're stating that you're an affiliate doesn't mean every link goes to Amazon.

I have no other source than this, but it's probably hidden in their ToS somewhere. Don't take my word for it, I was just saying I wouldn't do that. I like to put "Buy Now on Amazon.com" on my links just to be sure.

Use prosciate plugin, it will fill your store. Also creates a amazon disclosure for you to add to every post, widget areas and footer

Excellent - thanks for your input friend.
try this it was launched today and costs $9.99
You can build amazon stores quickly with this, i just got one. All countries supported, but it doesn't geo target.
Just tried mine on localhost and it was quick and worked perfectly
Link below is not an affiliate link, i am not affiliated in any way with the plugin or the owner
