on a more general note, when you make fun of something superficial that is negative, you reveal that you do not have the positive equivalent of the negative, or if you do, you are a giant piece of shit. for example, everyone itt making fun of appearance is probably not particularly in-shape themselves - and if you are, you're a giant piece of shit for making fun of someone who is not. the same goes for something superficial like money - if you make fun of someone for not having money, you either do not have money yourself, or you do and you are just a giant piece of shit for bringing that onto the table as criticism without anything constructive. something to keep in mind before you out yourself next time

Aside from how I personally feel now about Joe or bullying in general, if the forum turns into a place where the more active threads are the ones where people are shitting on others, well, that doesn't fester a good atmosphere for anyone. Just ignore the irritation and move on (like I did by blocking him). He wasn't an ass to me or anything (quite the opposite), just don't wanna associate myself with whatever he's trying to become. Some peeps here did it with another member recently where it too just "stunk up the room." Not saying we all have to think alike or always be positive, just shitting on people doesn't serve a valid purpose IMO. Anyway, I gotta get back to work. How about ya'll?

You think you made a good point but you did not. I never said I was perfect and me and STE had a big disagreement when I was quitting cigarettes. I brought appearance into it (along with a few other petty things) but I try to not be toxic and I can reflect on when I am. I used to have acne so I know how it feels. I have apologized to Ste since then and we are on OK terms (I think). I was not myself when I was quitting cigarettes, but regardless, you do not have to be perfect in something to encourage it - nobody is perfect...

I actually like you and most of your posts @alwaysinvisible and I don't have anything against you but this thread was so shit (after the OP when it switched from LP-bashing to appearance bashing) that I felt the need to chime in. BTW, Wilson is on the pedestal as well, as he wasn't one of the people just appearance-bashing, though I may have missed it. One other thing to note, though you will likely discount this as you probably see me as the enemy - for someone who mentioned "offending me" in the first reply, you seem very offended yourself, though it may just be your style of typing, though you did block someone, presumably because he offended you, though I couldn't tell if that was a joke and you two were on good terms. For contrast the nikchaing guy definitely wasn't offended at my calling out.

Talking shit for example to people you know especially your guy friends is totally fine and I and eveyone I know including myself does it all of the time but if you just post a picture of someone and start ragging on appearance that is toxic.

It doesn't affect me and I'm not offended in the slightest but everything in this thread is pure toxic bullshit that should be left off BHW. Feel free to continue to post stuff similar though it is just my opinion

I'm back from dinner. This is interesting and I certainly did not see this - thread makes more sense but it's still toxic as shit to go after appearance. CRAZY how all of the toxic replies stopped right after I mentioned they were toxic. Thread would not have stopped if everyone was going after his shitty guru tactics or something similar and I said "hey guys going after his shitty guru tactics is pretty toxic".
