Hi there,
i got a strike and i got an info in my settings that my monetization was diabled for some months.
Now after the time is over i cant monetize again =/ I cant even find an option for monetize again....
Eb
verything is green exept the option to monetize
How to enable it again ?

Plenty of other ways to monetize, affiliate links are the most common. As long you can think of a product even semi-related, there is a way to get affiliate commission.

If the monetization option is not available then you wont be able to monetize those videos via adsense best would be to go for other monetization methods.

@NicholasVegas
Which affiliate program do you prefer? Amazon or something else?

@OP
Read the rules of YouTube carefully. They don't give you a guarantee that you'll get the monetization back even after this 6 months. It's their choice. I've some bannend channels from 2013/14. For some channels I got the monetization back in 2016. Some are still banned. I've also some old Adsense accounts which I couldn't use for 2 or 3 years (every channel I've tried to connect with, lost their monetization directly). But now these Accounts are working again since mid 2016. You should no more care about your channel and/or Adsense account. Start a new one and be more careful. Maybe you'll get the monetization back sometimes, maybe not.

I am still experimenting. But I would say the more middle men you can cut out the better. Why would you take 4% or 8% from Amazon, when you can get close to 50% if not better working with the sellers directly.

That's true but on the other hand, customers have a) trust in Amazon, b) chances are high that a customer will buy more articles, c) 24h cookies. Additionally it's more easy for the tax accounting (don't know the exactly word) when you have 1 payment per month by Amazon instead of eg. 10 payments per month by 10 different companies.

Anyway ...I just have ~15k views per day (ripped videos) and can't imagine that affiliate links are worthwhile for me. I think the risk is higher that people will claim my videos ("this idiot is making money obviously with ripped videos.") and I'll get "community strikes" instead of what I'm getting back from the affiliate sales.

Any references from other members would be cool ...only to see how much money is possible with YouTube in combination with affiliate marketing.
