Guys it has been slightly over a week since I got into the SEO world.

In the first 6-7 days I was on fire. I mean, I started building websites, did a bunch of stuff, figured out how to use wordpress, read books on seo, the free ebooks folks offer on their blogs on how to create a successful blog, youtube videos on blogging etc.

Now that I have begun writing content for a blog I decided to make money from, I am stuck.

I am not able to create any articles, (writer's block) and I am just stuck and on the verge of quitting.

I need help. I don't want to quit please somebody set me straight

its been a week, go out and do something fun. and pace yourself.

In starting you will get these things even everyone does, this is natural. Don't think what you have not achieved, think about what you have achieved till now. This will give you a positive impact. Without obstacle you will not succeed. Obstacle will help you in achieving you goals.
Good Luck.

Take a break, try to find inspiration around you, look at some sites that you consider to be competitive and if all else fails - hire someone else to do it

I myself hate to write articles as well too, however, I'm just fine on the technical side.

It's not about losing motivation. You simply got stuck, and that thing has this negative impact on you, that makes you quit because you feel like you can't overcome this roadblock(been through it many times).

Simply put your brain at work to find a solution for your problem, and voila you're set free.

You should also take a look at your energy levels. When I'm tired, my short term gain memory kicks in, and it makes me feel frustrated when I realize that I can't accomplish anything in that moment, and I just want to quit and start to my old bad habits.

This is a bad thing because these bad decisions taken by an impulse will have a negative impact on the next days when the information has been passed in the long term memory.

Hope it makes sense.

buy some articles and focus your time on the side that interests you more.

Thanks guys. This helps. I will chill out and keep going :)

I am such an attention whore :P

The best way to write articles quickly (in my experience) is to literally find 2-4 on the topic and rehash what they are saying in your own words. I don't mean article spinning by the way, I mean rephrase and tie things together by yourself. That way you can easily knock out 5-10 a day without a sweat.

Just read somebody else' blog posts and essentially rip off their topic/ideas. Just rewrite it in your own way and make it a hybrid of 2+ blogs. But rewrite, don't spin or copy. If this doesn't work just use a voice to text program and talk about a topic.

All my success is based on doing this pretty much lmao.

@OP you will go through periods like this, go fishing or do whatever it is you like to relax for a few days

Your plan is probably not very good. Write it down on paper. In order to hit the ground running the next morning, make a realistic to-do list in the evening.

As Mr. Anderson you should not be in position to demotivate yourself, sure you love matrix trilogy, take some spirit from that great movie. ;)

I am on same gap, months learning about seo, and now it's time to make website which is not problem, but content could be. English is not my native, I was try to translate some magazine articles from my native language but always afraid that is so poor for google.

I saw somewhere one cool way, find some youtube video in your niche and simply write article while you listen narration, if it is about some diy stuff, or similar. If English is your native, on that way you could make good number of articles. Good luck.

blog about something you know.

SEO always should be considered 9 months+, depending on what you're building.

To get listed as Google News Source, referred multiple times organic by users in Wikipedia or YouTube, that took me like 18 months, together with another Blogger in a very competetive field of news / blog-topics.

I repeated that multiple times and the hardest part is to get picked up as qualified source from real users engaging with your site.

Never trust someone who tells you how to skyrocket within a week, fraud all over the place.

My advice: if you like your topic and didn't just picked it over some keyword analyzing program, write about whatever you want, even about your writers block and how you try to overcome that with getting help from others.

but again, depends all on what kind of website you run.

I'm about as newbie as it gets I found this forum a year ago and didn't decide to do anything until last month but for me its a way to escape reality I find myself stuck with work and school that I don't enjoy life so I decided it's time to better mine and my familys lives my advice to you is keep going man nothing is easy and nothing is made perfect or near perfect without a load of failures and errors I like to look at it as bodybuilding my ig traffic is the chest or whatever my shop is the biceps and my motivation or whatnot makes up the rest of the body, only after you put in the work on each section do you get one complete bodybuilder ( working method of making money ). So keep going man light up a bong free your mind, find a new writing place, talk to writers, as long as you don't stop you'll reach your goal be it 1 month or 1 year.
Best of Luck on your journey and never give up bud :)

This happens to the best of us. Especially if you try doing too many things at once.
Just take a break, do something you enjoy. And when you are in a good mood just sit down and map out an idea.
Nothing too big, just something you can easily do. And don't give yourself too strict a dead-line.
Then step-by-step as you start getting success with the little things, you'll get a feeling of accomplishment and move on to bigger goals.

And also, in your free time just keep researching. Looking at other people's cool new ideas. Something will definitely click.
Good luck!

Sounds like you're still on fire in real terms. You've gone from zero to writer's block in a week and now looking for your solution to move forward. That's good going in my opinion. Just get a writer to get through and your progress continues. Think about what come after your articles. What are you going to do when you've got them? Get yourself to that point by buying them and then you're where you want to be next. And so the progress continues....Good luck! And keep us in the loop.

Mr. Anderson

Don't beat yourself up you have done a lot in a short time and most likely your body and mind are telling you I need a break it happens. Along with some good things already stated earlier I really think you need practical advice here is a simple tip for you to use that will help:

Suck it up and stop actin like a bitch there are people all over the world who can make max 1$ day or starving to death. This game is a hard cut throat shady walk around the block. You need to really be prepared to go all in and stick with it, if you feel like quitting after a week that's not good. At the same time your just burnt out and need to chill out.

Don't take offense it's tough love you need it if you are going to survive in the murky waters of the SEO Matrix World

-So get up from your laptop take a walk and count your blessings you have an opportunity to swing for the damn fences
-Now before you do that setup google alerts for "SEO" "Search Engine Marketing" Social Media Marketing
-Now get up and take a walk, workout go have a drink whatever get out of the house
-Take a day or two off and recoup don't do anything SEO, website related
-During this time you will start getting ideas quickly voice record them on your phone or jot them down in a notebook and forget about them.

Next you mentioned in your post that you in the course of 6-7 days:

-In the first 6-7 days I was on fire. I mean, I started building websites, did a bunch of stuff,
-figured out how to use wordpress,
-read books on seo,
-the free ebooks folks offer on their blogs on how to create a successful blog,
-youtube videos on blogging etc.

Ok now come back to this in two days.....

Then head over to your Darth Google Mail and you should have about 15-30 articles in your inbox dealing with your business niche.

Wait and repeat this step.

After 5 days you will have of this you will have ideas pouring out of your head

Rinse and repeat this and as time goes you will start to develop your own methods and you can always use Darth Google for more

You now have 30-40 blogs to write writer's block solved your welcome

I call this the "Beethoven walk in the woods method" he used it, works he's dead so it's free use it.

Cheers

And.............
We shall have........
peace

I disagree with everyone here, if you want money then power through it and fucking write. Either that or pick a project you can be excited about that won't bore you, or just quit I'm all together. I hate threads like this, some people just aren't meant to make money online, it really does take work and it doesn't magically fall into your lap. You guys act like everyone can do this shit, and that I not the case.

Sorry, not sorry.

It's all about mindset. I have made quite few websites these last years, and I am starting a new one right now, and I know how it feels to start. the main thing I don't like is writing articles. find keywords, find competitors, check your chances are easy staff but when you want to write you just can't figure out what to write. Here is a tip I use, I go to competitors website. Find relevant article, mix them and get something new and more powerfull in google's eyes :D
