Question about keyword revealer

so I've been looking for keywords for a while now and found one with 100K+ searches a month and it is listed as low competition. I wanted to ask if keyword difficulty is relative to how many searches a month the term is? For example, should a keyword with difficulty 20/100 and 5K searches per month be as easy to rank for as a keyword with the same difficulty (20) but 500K searches a month?

With that information, we can't help you. You have to give us top 10 info, their back links, their on page seo, etc, etc. With just your search volume, it's close to impossible to give you help.

I wasn't asking whether or not the keyword is good. I just wanted to know if keyword revealers difficulty scoring is relative to its search volume.

yes to some extent the score helps you however for keyword competion check I use different tools such as google keyword planner, long tail pro, keyword revealer and keyword finder

KW Revealer is pretty good at competition but again it's just a tool. Look at the top 10 are they targeting the KW? what kind of sites are there? what is their backlink profile etc..

One more thing about KW Revealer, it's search volume is broke atm. It's giving global searches, so you may want to use the plugin Keywords Everywhere and set it to country specific to check the right volume.

Are you assuming that I am acting like I am providing help, but actually want to steal his keyword? It's 2017 bro, don't assume. Back it up with facts.

The main competition is big retailers like Walmart amazon etc but they have few links and low PA so I'm hopeful that they can be outranked. Thanks for the heads up about keyword revealer btw

Haha joseph we're in the same boat, I'm targeting a similar keyword as well! I don't know how much effort it will take to outrank these sites but I am about to find out soon with my KW, those sites are not targeting the KW I'm going for and they also don't have any strong links, basically they're ranking because of authority.

Don't go by PA, Moz crawler is a piece of shit. They don't see most of the links. I'd advise you to plug in your competitors in ahrefs and download their link profile. The good thing about having these competitors is that there are no hidden PBN's - you can see how many links they have. However, beating their authority is another ball game!

i don't much about keyword reveler, but i think that is good tool

as per my experience, i rank many 100K keywords with little efforts. but i am still struggling to rank even 1300 searches per month money keywords. so i am sure monthly searches not matter.

let ask your self, one new term come get trend then on going basis that term have 100k searches, but hardly 1 or 2 sites cover that topic. means u can rank for that keyword. right.

Guys, I only offered my help because I've had requests with people asking on advice about their keyword before in the past. This person is no difference in my eyes, but he interpreted my help in a different way. If he decides to think that way, let him be. Don't get between us.

Common sense comes into play. Obviously keywords with massive searches will have higher competition. You must ensure however to take LOTS of other factors into account, such as checking the top ten.

Consider:

- DA
- PA
- Social signals
- Referring domains
- New / old backlinks
- Onpage SEO
- Their anchor link ratios

There's lots to consider before deciding on a keyword, frankly this is why I sooner use services and invest into someone finding me decent keywords.

All 3 of my sites have Amazon, Target, eBay, plus manufacturers and social media sites as competitors, but most don't target the keyword in the URL, meta description and the page title. Although I'm hitting quite a few variations of the keywords from 2 words to 4 word keywords, some are more competitive than others, but rankable I think or I hope so lol

No. I understood what you said perfectly fine. I think you did not get where I was.coming from it seems. My point was that you should not rely on ONE tool. Never mind.
