Guess nearly everyone here has heard a thing or two about the distressed "Nigerian Prince" who's looking for a kind hearted soul to help him out. Well, you are finally meeting one today, thanks to BHW.

First, writing this has not been easy for me. I hate coming off as needy, but when one is looking lost and down, I think it's important that he swallows his pride, and ask for help.
My life is a complicated one at the moment. I am 31, with a wife and a daughter that is just 3 months old. My problem is, I am handicapped (I am hard of hearing) so networking and interacting with people is a terrible nightmare. Consequently, my options are limited in the job market. This is a serious problem, especially in a corruption-ridden society where access to employment and services (even in the private sector) is based on political patronage
When I graduated from the University, I worked for my church as a writer; I was working as a motivational columnist and helping in the publishing of our weekly magazine. Now, my country is in a recession, which affected the church finance and the weekly magazine has been suspended, leaving me jobless, and with no prospect of getting another job. Chance of getting any job is almost next to none.
The situation is honestly terrifying. I am penniless. I have gone through many threads on BHW for weeks, trying to see a method that I could use to earn some money quickly (in the short run), but I have found none. In fact, I had gotten more confused than when I started, hence this plea for help.
I have also looked at other places I could earn, signed-up on Fiverr as a writer, but the competition is so huge that I can't find my way through.
Could any kind soul here be kind enough to help me out in any way to find my feet in IM? I have no money to invest, but I am willing to work my ass off to earn decent money.
My target, for now, is $100 a week.
Please help me find my way, I will be eternally grateful to you.
