Twitter Enforcement Ban Starting?

Interesting theory but I had few accs which I made manually more then year ago and they are banned. On the beginning they were different they post different pics and urls. I grew up it manually. And they are banned.
Also my 37 accs (which I bought from the same source that I bought banned accs) still alive but they doesnt post Mylikes.
Also Mylikes where posted only one time per day. All accs has the same options so has 37 alive accs.

Well then, my theory is not good enough, at least not for your case.

Here's another theory, which is even more hypothetical than my previous one:
Can't it be that they randomly suspend only a certain percentage of accounts out of those, which triggered their spam filters? Because if they were suspending all, it would be a lot of banned accs and it would look bad in the stats (what they can show to their shareholders), that the number of registrations doesn't grow, but significantly decreases after every purge. This way they kill two birds with one stone: they can keep us in the dark, ban a "few" accounts, but not that much, that it would look bad in their stats.

Only one account got suspended. I wonder why. I was asked to re-verify around 10 accounts.

The strange thing is that I can't tweet from my accounts since yesterday. I am not sure if it followliker or twitter because I didn't try to tweet manually.

What's not permanent? The account suspensions? That is permanent. You can appeal it, but most of the time they will stay suspended unless the accounts are somewhat legit and didn't seriously violated their TOS.

The phone locks are not permanent, that is true. But we weren't talking about those kind of account locks here. OP - and everyone else who posted after him including me - was talking about bans, permanent suspensions.

You either don't know what these terms mean in the Twitter lingo or i don't get you.

Yes, that's a good idea, if you manage your accounts with a browser. I think most of us here have multiple accounts, even a couple hundred or more, so we use bots and most of those have cookie support.

I am more inclined towards your 2nd theory (I am not a believer in the acct-IP at creation theory, although I do not have clear data to refute it, just mental notes, etc).

My experience is that permanent bans are related to links, not excessive following, un-following, liking, etc.. (which Twitter counters with ghosting, sms locks, passwords locks, etc.)..

Rarely, I have successfully appealed "permanent suspends" - this occurred 2 times in 2016 and were Getty image related issues, ie. IP issues.

In the past, the appeal process started with confirmation of an email. This time Twitter wrote to effect: this suspend is permanent and do reply to this email.. no email confirm process.

Your loss of accts that were doing nothing, suggests to me there is not 1-single test for permanent bans; perhaps, non-use for xx months is another.

I noticed 2 major suspend enforcement acts in 2016 - May and Nov 15; this was followed with ghosting selective accounts that followed aggressively without concomitant engagement.. this persisted for 4-6 wks thereafter.

This wks bans might have been clean-up from the most recent enforcement that started in mid-Nov. Like a second washing of sorts.

My theory is that celebrities & large corporations are affected by these enforcement actions as well (again I believe bans are most directly related to tweeting links/driving traffic), and these players & their Ad agencies ultimately put pressure on Twitter to go back to "normal" and let them post links as they were. Absent such complaints by people/organizations that Twitter cares about (not you and me), I see no reason why Twitter would not constantly hammer us 100% of the time.

ive had 1 account that was repeatedly unsuspended via email explanation and then was finally unable to ever be opened again. my network goes into spells of contstant sms suspends but if im persistent about re activating eventually it seems to go away. i dont know. but i need these accounts and im scared now.

That is not possible, i'm afraid. When an account is verified/associated with a phone number and the account gets suspended while the phone number is still attached, the phone number follows the account into the grave. To prevent this happening, you can remove the phone number from the account, after it was verified. If you're asked to verify the account again, you can use the same phone number or a different one. You can use one phone number with up to 10 accounts.

Scenario 1: You use 1 phone number with the maximum allowed 10 accs. All 10 accounts get suspended while the phone number is attached to them. In this case the phone number is toast, you will never be able to use it on Twitter again.

Scenario 2: You use 1 phone number to verify 4 accounts (so there are still 6 slots left). All 4 accs get suspended while the phone number is attached to them. 4 slots are gone, 6 slots are still left.

In both scenarios you can prevent the phone number or any slots being lost by removing the phone number from the accounts, after they were verified.
