Can you give me some tips on how to not create a literary trainwreck? My articles suck, I need to improve the quality, specifically for Amazon reviews. What's a good outline to follow?

Its creating content from scratch. Basically doing top x reviews, x reviews, etc. Writing for Amazon products is so much easier than anything else, so I can hit 3k/hour most of the time.
If I worked 8+/hrs a day on full time writing, ($15/1000) 3k/hour, so that's around 24k words done a day. If I didn't go to school and did this full time, I can probably earn nicely

As to the playlist, It's on a private Spotify account so I don't think sharing the link normally works, however, I'm pretty sure there is a tool to turn the list I sent into a Playlist.
I have a much shorter playlist with my favorite songs. What do you think:

When I first started properly Copywriting I was under the impression that I would be able to bang out more than fifty words a minute, however, after going through two keyboards, reading thousands of articles and more importantly writing hundreds of them, I can whole-heartedly say this is not the case.
Although writing isn't as fast or furious as I had first imagined it to be, I have perfected my routine to a point where it is actually quite enjoyable, especially when you work out your hourly pay. I figured that I would share some tips 'n' tricks I have picked up with you guys.
Research:
While I would say research is only necessary around 15% of the time (The vast majority of articles I have written have been for Money sites with titles like "Best x", "Top 10 x", and "x review". These types of articles are the easiest to write in my opinion because you basically take the information from Amazon/ the sales page and just expand on it), it is still important and it can easily be the difference between the best article you have ever written and the worst.
Now, I'm not saying that you need to spend hours fact-checking every single detail in your articles but having some idea about the topic never hurts. For research, I use the Chrome plugin https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/spreed-speed-read-the-web/ipikiaejjblmdopojhpejjmbedhlibno to ingest a whole lot of information in a short space of time and it's great! (Shout out to my boi Natty for that one)
In regards to what sites I use for the actual research, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page is obviously fantastic; However, I also find Authority sites relevant to the niche helpful. For example, if someone wanted me to write them a blog post about the Tesla model S, then a site like http://www.autocar.co.uk/ would be great.
Writing:
Now that you have some knowledge on the subject and maybe a few Amazon tabs open you are ready to get down into the nitty-gritty!
- The first thing I do when I'm writing an article is to open a new Desktop (https://www.cnet.com/uk/how-to/how-to-use-multiple-desktops-in-windows-10/ / https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT204100) and close any applications that may send notifications (Skype, Facebook etc.). I also turn my Phone to silent and place it out of my eyeshot. This removes all possible distractions, which will massively improve productivity in the long-run.
- The next thing that I like to do is open a distraction-free text editor, like the one https://make.wordpress.org/support/user-manual/content/editors/distraction-free-writing/, and put on a Music playlist (I have a playlist long enough to cover all of my writing sessions. It's pretty much the mid-point between Pop music and Peaceful tunes).
- After setting up the Text Editor I quickly type up a brief plan for the article, like this: Opening paragraph, the Tesla model S' history, my "experience" with it, features, pros, cons, conclusion, "check out the other articles." Planning it out like this makes it a lot clearer in my mind what I have to do, which helps to save around 5 minutes per article.
Proofreading:
- All that's left to do is, well, write the article. If you find yourself stuck at any point just take a small break and come back to it later. I actually prefer to write my articles in chunks of around 250 words, switching between other projects/ articles that I have to do. This helps me to ensure that all of my clients get their work back quickly and that they are not left waiting around because someone ordered an article on rocket science before that took you hours to write.
If you are anything like me then, in your haste to provide your customer with the very best TAT, you will have left a trail of terrible spelling mistakes, grammatical errors, and just all-around terrible sentences in your wake.
I tend to read through my content at least once, making sure it all flows nicely and makes sense. Anything I am unsure about I either check the facts further or link to the source. After that I then have a look at what https://www.grammarly.com/ has to say and, while I agree they are not always accurate, they do spot a lot of errors that would otherwise go un-noticed.
I then leave it for an hour or so, to clear my head, and then come back to it. This time when I read through it I notice a lot of stuff I missed out the first time round, which is why I believe this step is one of the most important.

Following this process, I am able to fully complete 1000 word articles in an hour, which makes Copywriting/ Ghostwriting an incredibly well-paying profession, even at the lower ends. For example, Britain's minimum wage is $8.88 (£7.20 converted as of 30/12/16) meaning even if you charge $1/100 words (Very low for a British citizen) you are making around $10 an hour.

I'm a newbie article writer myself and I provide my services on Fiver. Maybe when I get a little more experience and have some decent savings I'll open a thread on the marketplace too. My problem is that I take too much time to research for a topic. I'm kind of a perfectionist and I always strive to satisfy my clients. So it takes around 2-3hrs to write a 500 words article completely including research,proofreading and editing. I'm trying to get that down to 1 hour. So my hourly rate will be $5 an hour.. More $4 an hour after Fiverr's commission! If I can get 5 orders daily I would earn $20 daily or $600. That's around 40K in our local currency. It would be a dream come true for me!

Very often i got distracted from my writing focus that sometimes it took me 2 - 3 hour just to write 500 - 1000 word review article.

The main thing that prevents me from starting a thread in the marketplace forum is the fear of being unable to handle the workload without a team of writers.
Low price = shitload of orders.
High price = not enough orders to make it worth your while, more demanding and picky clients.
How do you guys deal with this issue? looking at some of the threads in the prince range that I'm willing to offer, I don't see myself lasting more than a week.

It will take you a long time, no matter what sort of service you offer, to get in regular customers.
I'd concentrate on making some quality posts around the forum first, because people often don't like to buy from you, if you're just a leecher.

If you're offering money site content for something like $3/500 words and the mod review is exceedingly positive, you'll get customers in no time imo.
I've seen new threads started by undistinguished posters flooded with orders in the first week, so while it might sound like a luxury problem, there is a good chance of getting more than I what you asked for / can handle.

It's best to start a thread about your expertise. Then, welcome people to ask. That's what I have been doing, and it works for me.

I find some articles just write them selves. Things starting "ten best" or "number one" take one google search and a ten minute read. I know when I started a simple 500 word article was taking me over an hour. Now I can do in 15 minutes. I consider my quality to be far superior now. I did have one article last week that took a shit load of research and took a full afternoon. It was a pain in the ass but I enjoyed it more.

I had the same problem on a freelancer site once. I made tons of bids at shit cheap prices hoping to get some feedback. Nothing happened for a week. Then I received a shit ton of order all on 24 hour delivery.

Does anyone have any tips on how to write reviews for products with virtually no description and non-detailed customer reviews? when writing top 10 guides, these type of products takes up most of my time. I wonder if there is some sort of blueprint or pattern that helps you complete the review faster.
