Hey

I am trying to sign up with instagram for a new account. Whenever I choose a username it shows "Sorry, that username is taken." then I click on the round arrow for automatic username generator and I click sign up and i get an error "Sorry, something went wrong creating your account. Please try again soon." and if I click again I get the same as first message " Sorry, that username is taken."

so what's wrong? why can't I sign up?

That's normal. The issue is the ip you are using as it is blacklisted, try with other ips. Yup, if you press the signup button twice, it will tell you the username is already taken. Quite weird actually but "normal".

Oh, why may it be blacklisted? I was making a new insta for my website but I am using my personal instagram without any issues along side with my family IG in the same home we all use it without any problem.

I am facing the same issue right now and there is not any reason that my ip should be blacklisted.

Maybe is Just a systeme problem Try again after same hours

Not sure why, maybe that ip was abused before. You can check the real reason by doing the following:

1. Go to instagram.com
2. Press f12 to open developer tools
3. Do normal signup
4. When the error pops up, look for the http request in the network tab in the developer tools and check what was the response. You should see something like "your ip was accused of being an open proxy, bla bla"
