It may not be many people's ideal location, but I'd love to live in Seattle someday:

I actually have a dream scenario called the Four Corners for vacation home ownership, with an achievement goal of 2025 (so when I turn 35). The Corners consist of:

Northwest: Condo in downtown Seattle
Southwest: A house or something on a beach near LA
Northeast: A cabin in Maine
Southeast: Something on the beach in Key West

that sounds great. i'm gonna need to work on my list haha

Done the English countryside, it's good for rural pubs etc. Weather is crap.

Currently in Spain, loving the hot 9 months of the year, thankfully got a pool here. We have our house and a couple of apartments here, all private and secluded.

Been to Dubai loads of times, could live there. Same applies to Thailand.

Really like So Cal, especially Hermosa Beach, Long Beach areas.

Southern California is okay to visit, but living here is a different story, which is why I'm trying to move away from here by March. Anyway, avoid So Cal like the plague, especially anywhere West of Salton City. This place is a ticking time bomb thanks to California's inaction regarding the Salton Sea (I live about 25 miles from there).

Some of the once nice areas of So Cal are becoming infected with a blight of ghetto as well, so the cost of living here just isn't worth it now.

but Grindelwald, Switzerland remains my TOP favorite place.

I've never been there. I used lived over in Tucson, Arizona, so most of the towns I visited were in Southern Arizona. Except Flagstaff; now that place is nice!

there are still plenty of places around the world, sri lanka pop too mind so does many places in africa, but too find a place totally free of both materialism and capitalism you'd need to live with jungle tribes. lol


mozambique is incredibly beautiful and you can live like a king where as for the same money you'd be an below average joe in western europe or the US.

after living in several parts of the US for the last 8 years, my next goal is Kuala Lumpur city center, in a skyscraper high rise penthouse. its only about $2,000 for a nice penthouse. + utilities and food is cheap. i'm not much of a nightlife kind of person.
