How much to charge for text link?

I've had someone contact me wishing to have a text link on my site.

I've had about 6000 unique visits from January 2016 to now obviously I want most I can reasonably ask for but worried if I go too high I'll scare them off.

I couldn't begin to give you a price since there are so many variables you havent given, but I would make the other person of give a number first

if he offers a higher number than what you were going to suggest... then success I'd take it

if he offers a number lower than what you think the link is worth then try to negotiate a higher price. You should have fact/figures ready to support the higher price. If negotiations fail then find the persons competitor and negotiate with them instead.

actually if possible find the competitor first and try to start a bidding war.

told him open to offers got $100 for 2 links for 6 monts...seriously you can make that with text links? :O

Lurked a little more on this forum.

Its a technology niche. His backlinks don't have a whole lot to do with tech but...he paid good money so I'm happy to accept
