Hey guys, I've read in a lot of articles that using Adsense in addition to Amazon Affiliate ads is a bad idea, mainly for the following reasons:
Having more ads causes the users to dislike the page more
Any clicks to Adsense ads might take away a potential buyer
So this seems reasonable and while I'm sure some people have both with no issues I believe it's a general rule of thumb at the very least for someone starting out.
However on my site I intend to write articles that won't rank for just buyer keywords. Say for example I have a site about fridges (not my niche) and my buyer articles include keywords like:
best fridges review
fridge reviews
buy fridges online
SuperFridge XD-500 review
For all of these I would not want to include adsense at all as I want any potential site visitors to be going to amazon and buying a fridge.
But what if I write articles that are for people who might already have fridges, like:
how to clean your fridge properly
maintaining your fridge
increase the life of your fridge
These are clearly intended for people who already have them, and of course I'd only be looking at targeting these keywords if they were low in traffic.
So my question is, is there a way to get adsense and ONLY have it target these non-buyer pages and is it a good idea.
Thanks in advance for any responses!
