Sorry if this is not really a BH thing, but for a noob, I found it important.

Here is the link to Download Accelerator Plus. You can get the free version and it works wonderfully. On my computer it actually does makes downloads a whole lot faster and the resume feature is great for broken connections (wireless sucks). It also comes with a file shredder. I think the premium version might be somewhere on the forum. But the free version works so well, the premium thing doesn't really add much worth bothering with.

I just started using this and my life suddenly got a whole lot easier, especially for large downloads like videos. It also pushes TOR up to acceptable download speeds so I was able to stop taking stress pills.

Nah.

I actually use the thing. It helps on big files.

It comes with a lot of ads, though, and they are a pain.

Also, some sites don't work with it like Rapidshare. Maybe there's a way, but I don't feel like fiddling with it to find out.

There's probably something better out there, but this thing does it for me for now.

I use IDM (Internet Download Manager) Which in my opinion beats all the rest.
