Instagram Account Hacked

My biggest Instagram account was hacked today, the user logged in and changed the username, email and password. Is there any way to get it back? I've contacted Instagram support about the account but I don't know if they'll be able to do anything.

I also actually talked to the hacker and found out how he logged into the account. I though he was actually going to give me the account back at one point but ended up not

Any help would be much appreciated.

How did he do it? My first though was you were using a sketchy program to bot your account.

Can't you just send that Skype log to IG support? Sure they will help you out, you've got the proof right?

That's a good idea, although we were doing a skype call and I'm not sure if that saves. Either way I'll be able to send them the kik chat as well.
