Why do I get a lot less profit?

My friend is using hostgator 2 years and he didn't go through any problems with them, he is hosting more than 150 domains and everything works perfect for him

You are not your friend. People on this forum stay away from Hostgator for a reason.

What hosting would you recommend then? I have been successfully using hostgator for 2 years myself. If you have some better alternatives or suggestions, that would be great. Thank you.

I agree HG is not very good. Been a customer with them for a long time before I realized that. I recommend a vps on OVH.
