Unique article trick (beware of low cost article services)

I published a thread like 2 hours ago which was taken down and I discussed about this topic with the MOD "I know seo" and he suggested that I should go ahead and repost it because the info was important.

So basically whenever you encounter any article service which seems to good to be true for example 1-2 dollars for 500+ words, go ahead and check the uniqueness of the article yourself because I am going to tell you a method which can beat all plagiarism checkers.

So lets say the seller delivered an article and it passed plagiarism checker with 100% uniqueness and is well written and everything. Its not always true. I know people who basically copy anything from the internet and then convert UFT-8 to ASCII. After its done, it will show as unique on all plagiarism checkers. So the best way is to manually type 3-4 sentences from that article and check those sentences on plagiarism checker.

I won't tell the names of these softwares that can be used for these tricks for obvious reasons but you can do you own research on it.

Nice tip. Added to my list of negative SEO attack vectors since you could potentially use this to intentionally damage guest blogs, discussion threads, and to steal or devalue content.

This trick won't work if you use Google to check.

No other software comes close to Google in finding copied content, you only need to know how to use it. Verbatim search and "double quotes are your friends".

"thіѕ іѕ јuѕt а small test" - Version 2 - Looks exactly same but if you copy it from here and google it, you wont find any results for this

WTF? Then Google has a regression bug in their system. They did not fall for this a while back, this is a bug they introduced recently.

I work with French, Portuguese and other formerly ISO-8851 languages and UTF-8 content conversion has been part of my job for years. This is a new bug in Google search, they introduced this sometime recently and I didn't notice. Nice find.

LOL this is pretty ridiculous, there aren't even accents in "this is just a small test"!!!

Might be for copyscape and others, but I don't think the Google one was known? I've been checking latin1 articles vs utf-8 on google for a long time.

It's impossible to fake accents like é ç ã ó à on ASCII, if you convert them they become funny symbols. I know for a fact Google did not fall for this until a while ago.

Edit: I just realized that precisely because of the accents, this only works for English...LOL.

Edit2: Checked further and there's a bunch of hidden characters on one of those strings. This is not just UTF/ASCII conversion, there's more to it. And OP is correct this can be easily used to sell fake content.

This has been going on for awhile now. Someone on BHW shared this trick.
You have to ask yourself, "Why would anyone work for less than minimum wage?"
Because they do sh*t like this.

A simple method to bypass this trick is

1) Open the document.
2) Copy the content
3) create a new a text file in notepad++ ,
4) paste the content
5) remove all ?
5) Save the document as ANSI txt file
6) Check this document on Copyscape .
