[Method] Make $1000 a Month With Amazon - Newbie Friendly [Phase 5a Published!]

Quick question: do you only have an account with amazon.com or do you use something like a geo redirection script to link to the certain national Amazon shop?
Because I feel like people outside of the US wouldn't order from amazon.com, would they?

My site has been created for ~20 days so far, 38 clicks on amazon but no conversion still. Is it normal?
I think it is normal for me, hoping for better results when time passes.

Took me over 100 clicks to get me my first sale. But, I've seen people get results in 10-20 clicks only since its also luck based. Just stick to whatever you're doing, you got 38 clicks so you're defo doing the right job! Good luck!

Keep going. If you don't get a sale by 200 clicks then you should be getting worried.

Just scale up the clicks and you'll see the results soon enough

I got my first sale within the first 3 clicks. It all depends on how you're lucky or if the person who clicked the affiliate is willing to spend money that day. The comission was $0.50 though :)

WOW this is an amazing guide. Going to try this in my vacation starting next week hahaha. Thanks so much!

I hope it doesn't have to be that bad haha, I'm just hoping for at least 1 sale before January ends.

Not that great over Amazon. AdSense is giving solid results though.

Guys my first item ordered milestone!!
upload_2016-12-21_15-24-2.png

After 45 clicks now I got 2 ordered items at once, not sure if it's from my ads on facebook or any other traffic source.

Anyway I'm very pleased with this result now that I can get at least 1 ordered item in my first month.

I hope my dream will come true ( 1k$/month before end of Dec 17 )

If I think I'm doing well I'll share my journal later! ( after 3-4 months )

Question for those who started to get sales and those who are deep in to amazon affiliate stuff; what percentage of your total sales are unrelated products to your promoted ones?

Still wondering whether you only pay attention to US traffic or do you redirect visitors from other countries to their respecting amazon shop (given you have an account on there as well)?

To those who have a hard time understanding phase 1 and the amazon advertising fee schedule webpage, you might would find a more detailed and understandable version in the (in), that, or other local versions of the same webpage (something you can do via a quick Google search using the necessary keyworks) ... BTW: I can't post links since I'm new to BHW

Meathead (and others, if they have Amazon experience),

With all the discussion concerning the 'advertising fee' table and to stay away from 'electronics' because of the fixed 4% fee, it might be a good idea for a small segway into what generally is considered 'electronics'. Obviously, a BluRay player would fall into that (or maybe even into the 2% 'Television products' category)... but what about a slow cooker or an elliptical machine that include electrical control panels?

I figure a bit more elaboration into how it would appear Amazon categorizes their products would be a good idea. Are 'television products' just TVs, or does that include DVD and BluRay players? What in general do they consider 'electronic products' etc

Great thread Bro - much appreciation for another great money making method that's available to the masses - all they have to do is take the initiative and take action!
OS

Please see the following two images to see in which Amazon Department Blu-Ray stands:

See the top line in Fig 1, it says "Electronics", and also see the left-hand-side menu where the relation is clear: Blu-Ray Players fall under the Electronics Department. So...

Fig 2:

So you see, for getting the Amazon advertising fees (commission, in short) the department is Electronics Products. The second image shows you that the Electronics Department products will get you only 4% commission on each item from that department you're able to "sell"!

And...
Being a Fixed Rate Advertising Fee product category, even if you sell 3,200 BluRay players in any one month, you'll ONLY get a fixed 4% commission on those confirmed sales, and not the 8.5% commission rate as the numbers (3,200 units sold) should give you for the general category products.

P.S.:
The number of items you sell from such Fixed List category will be counted along with other General category products where you get commission according to the following table in Fig 3. But, every Fixed Rate type item will get only the Fixed rate of commission attached to its department and that total will be added to the other sub total of the commission you will get for selling the General category products (volume-based commission rate as mentioned in the following image, Fig 3):

Hi,

Sorry to quote such an old comment but I am still confused in this regards. Let's say I have a product handheld vacuum cleaners. The problem is those exists inside electronic category too if you try to find but mainly exists in Home & Kitchen. It's being extremely hard to take a guess. Is it same to assume that any electronic product that exists on Amazon is to be considered as 4% no matter in what category it falls into? Or is it not like that?

Thanks.
