Interspire 6.1.6 Autoresponder Not Working

I scored me the latest version of Interspire Email Marketer just to use the autoresponder feature for a small project I'm testing out. As far as I know, I have everything setup correctly. I will mention that I don't have Interspire installed on my root domain. It's installed like: "mysite.com/folder".

I setup the SMTP that my server details explain and my email address I'm using matches everything with Interspire settings. I went to settings and sent a test email to 3 different email addresses and worked perfect. My cronjob is setup correctly also.

I setup my autoresponder to send the first email right away and 2 more every 2 days. I sent a test email from the autoresponder and nothing, it says it sent but I never receive the email. I tried to send to 3 different gmail accounts and 2 yahoo accounts. Never got the emails.

I also contacted my hosting before installing Interspire and they said I can send 250 emails per day. So my hosting is on point.

I have seen tons of other people have this same issue but everything I read offers no solution. I'm hoping I can get help with this here and it will help other people having the same issue.

Anybody know what causes this autoresponder to not work?

I just created a regular email campaign too and sent a test to it and I never got the email. It looks like this thing isn't sending emails at all.

Their support sucks ass.... I have contacted them and they never reply.. That's why I'm here.

Their forum is no help either... I bunch of people with problems and no solutions.

I won't be sending anywhere near that volume... This is just a small project in a niche with a small fan base.

But I think I just found my issue. Looks like I forgot to give some of my files the right permissions. I'm going to change them and post back.

Think about deliverabilty!!
Amazon ses can inbox much better than your hosting provider but that's up to you...

I'll check them out for a bigger project I have planned. I used getresponse in the past and it gets pretty pricey for high volume.

Somebody out there has surely had this same issue. I fucked around with it today with no luck. Still no reply from support. I really want to avoid going back to Getresponse.

The autoresponders will not send emails at all. Anybody know the fix?

OK guys, I got it figured out after 2 days. First In Cpanel in my cronjobs I changed from * * * * * to 5/ * * * *

The other thing I had to change was my port for my outgoing SMTP from 26 to 25 <<<<My server said it should be 26 but didn't work.

Those are the two things I changed, but not sure which one fixed it because I didn't test each change on it's own.

Also when testing your autoresponder, use your form and subscribe from your site not the test function in Interspire.

Now my autoresponder is working like a champ.

Outgoing port should be 25, by the way always test smtp in Email Settings.

I have noticed a lot of bugs with interspire over the past year or so. I tend not to bother with the MTA manager for this reason and usually just hook up a server with PMTA installed.

That said Interspire plus addons is still the best and most dynamic mailer app out there for automation,

Interspire is no longer and active product solution, means that company has shifted its focus from Interspire to Ecommerce. Resulting in the non-availability of product updates, real time bug fixes and support. With several functions giving errors and having no way to get latest updates from the developer's side. It will cost you bucks and still you will have the nulled product.

I like that SES + sendy idea.....but I need autoresponders and shit....I doubt sendy haas that
