Pet niche in Instagram

Hi,I wanted to start a pet niche instagram.
Should i go with only Dog/Cat or both.
My goal is to earn by Shout Out.

I wouldn't limit yourself to either, I would make it a pet page in General, meaning all sorts of animals.

You will have a wider audience.

It is a good idea to focus on a niche so you know what you can advertise to your audience.

Dogs as apposed to pets is a sub niche not really a niche of its own.

What I feel is that mostly, cats are mostly loved by Females. So, by Choosing Cats, you may limit your visitors or followers to Females only. If I were you, I would start with a dog niche.

As you can see by the replies "go cats...no, go dogs...no, cats are better..etc", it really doesnt matter because there is a huge audience for both.

Choose whatever you are most interested in.

I had a dog nice instagram account before with like 15k followers and the engagement was good! I would go with dog niche.
