Do you already live only from passive income?

Passive income is not over rated. I would rather make $100 a day guaranteed passive income and be free to do whatever i want with my time than stuck in an office on some bullshit $100 an hour project that will mean nothing in 100 years when you are just dust and sold your valuable time for peanuts and some meaningless job title. The question to those who strive for a passive income is how much is your limited time on this earth actually worth to you? For me $100 a day passive is worth more than $100 an hr active...as i will never get that time back. But agree that it is good to get a balance if you want different streams of income and wish to accumulate investments when you are young.

VERY NICE!!!

YOU GOT IT!

I absolutely agree, passive income is awesome and WAY better than "active". But in reality, many people work on passive income for years, sometimes even decades (!). Is it worth to work 20 years for a very small passive income? Of course it can be done much faster, especially now with the internet. Many people underestimate the work that comes with generating a solid (!!) passive income though, and therefore work and work and just give up at some point without earning anything. But I agree, it is definetly an awesome goal to pursue.

Assuming 3 to 10% commissions, that's 6 to 20 million U$ in sales / year. If he were top 1000, that'd mean the top 999 did u$ 20 billion in affiliate sales / year.

But the whole worldwide affiliate GDP today is about U$ 6 billion, which includes giant sites (which take the biggest share) + individuals. So that's not possible.

So while I may be wrong about top 50, as an individual he's probably up there in the worldwide top sellers, I don't know where, but he's well ranked.

No come on man... There are at least on bhw 100 people making 600k/yr.(if not more)

And thats only in bhw.

Yes

The main problem with me is that I have stable passive income but I always want more.

So I work hard on new projects.

When you have a purpose in life and your work is aligned with the purpose, it becomes irrelevant how passive or active your work is. You are afraid of active work because for you it means doing shit you don't want to do just because someone ordered to.

I think it doesn't have to be totally passive, even 1-2h of work/check per day I would consider passive :) Because all you would need is internet connection (can do it anywhere).

Yep, pretty much always. My sister brings the income while I sit passively and wait. ;)

What purpose in life??

I am not afraid of Active work (it takes alot of active work to achieve passive!) and of course there are exceptions to every rule. Eg, if you are a sports star or movie star making millions then of course active is good. If you are (in your words) ordered around in an office job by the CEO who pays you $500k USD or $1 Mil USD a year then of course active is ok too (if you are lucky to be part of that 1 or 2%). Or if you just love your job and love to work...good for you. However, i am explaining what the mindset of someone seeking passive income (again this could be 0hrs or 1 or 2 hrs a day) is to most people who are not a rockstar or sports star.

Sterling Hayden Quote: 'They are enmeshed in the cancerous discipline of "security." And in the worship of security we fling our lives beneath the wheels of routine - and before we know it our lives are gone'. 'we are brainwashed by our economic system until we end up in a tomb beneath a pyramid of time payments, mortgages, preposterous gadgetry, playthings that divert our attention from the sheer idiocy of the charade'.
