I am running a website for past 1 year, built only quality backlinks, nothing spammy, but 2 months back one competitor starting blasting my website with thousands of spammy backlinks. Right now my website has around 44000 spammy backlinks which my competitor built (They used "Webpage" as anchor for most of these links). It will hardly take my 1 day to disavow all of them but i am wondering if i should use it? or google is smart enough to just avoid these backlinks?
This is a quality ecommerce website , not spammy affiliate product website...
No penalty or any message in google webmaster tools till now, I do not see any ranking drop as well, but wondering if that can happen when it is manually reviewed by someone in google...
Need suggestion from experienced members on what to do in this situation,
You take 1 year to build a quality website and then some competitor can ruin it by just buying $5 negative seo gig? I am sure google is aware of such issue and do not penalize quality ecommerce sites with such negative tactics.
