Need Someone To Restore A Database File To My WordPress Blog STAT!

I have a WordPress blog that I removed from my host a while back and now I would like to put it back up again.

I used the Updraft Plus plugin to backup the site every night, so I have all the backup files to restore the site. However, the database file will not restore. Without the database file, there is no content on the site. Which pretty much defeats the purpose of backing anything up.

Been going round and round with my host for the last 7 hours trying to get this straightened out and they are telling me I need to upgrade to a VPS so they can fiddle around with the MySQL versions. Updraft support is pretty much obsolete.

if you need to backup a site you need two essential things backupfiles and backupdatabase . unless you have saved your database somewhere. there is no way around to fix it

I have all the backup files. I was able to eventually get the database backup file to work properly. Now I am trying to get all of the images that I posted to the blog to show up on the site. They are visible in the cPanel, but for whatever reason they are not displaying on the blog.

That was one of the first articles I found, but no luck. I've tried everything. Re-uploaded, reinstalled, downgraded, changed permissions, changed permalinks, disabled plugins, etc. I am going to be bald by the time this is over. I am pulling my hair out.

I have all the backup files. I was able to eventually get the database backup file to work properly. Now I am trying to get all of the images that I posted to the blog to show up on the site. They are visible in the cPanel, but for whatever reason they are not displaying on the blog.

Thanks everyone for trying to help.

After spending a whole day on this with no luck, I wound up using the DsgnWrks Instagram Importer plugin to export all the photos from my Instagram onto the blog. So all of the original content is back on the site without having to use backup files.

Hopefully this can be a lesson to everyone to use more than one backup solution for your sites. And if those files don't work, you can pull the content from one of your social media sites.

Hi just to let you know I actually host my own site where you can upload your backups and keep them safe. It's new today and it's free I make no profit at all.

You need to be very carefull giving away upload space , if a person uploads anythink ilegal it all your responsibility in court , no good saying i didnt no or i offer a free upload service still get nicked.

You need to right a very in depth legal terms page, and terms and condition and dmca and
Privacy policy to cover you own arse , even then you get police busted , not worth the hassle be honest.....

And yes this can and does happen daily, no matter what you say, if there any report off illegal uploaded info ,your get house raided ,and tacken down police station ,and all your computer stuff will get bagged and everthink you own for the internet will get confiscated, if there even 1 file that illegal, you downloaded from any torrent sight your get nick stight away , if there any under age picture or films you get charged stright away ,this includes anythink anyone else has uploaded to your server ....

Be warned ....

Look at it this way .....

Anythink you do on the net, is classed as you doing it , dont matter where you are ,at home or at work but it you doing it, if your using a vpn , laptop , home pc, hidding your ip or what ever ,you are still guilty till proven innocent ,that how it looked at when nicked , not intested others uploaded the content , it your responsibility , and will always be you, that did it ...

media fire and many other upload sites suffer from ilega content. someone reports the page the content gets removed.
or a fine im sure they wouldnt go through that whole far fetched procedure unless i was actually letting people do that ...
if what you say is true then help me secure the site more or admin it for that matter if you have spare time. actually can you personal message me i actually want to ask you somthing about one of my sites ive just started working on. i think you might be able to help/
