Hello, what do you think about using this plugin for protect - keep up to date - and speed up the site?
There are risks to lose ranking if images on my site are not uploaded on my site but on wordpress cdn?

Since it is developed by wordpress developers, it is really useful and have most features then other plugins

I use it on some sites, but you have to modify the settings to your need (I only use the secure feature)

It makes many things very comfortable, but is a huge resource hog with loads of features you probably never need. I personally prefer targeted solutions instead of these "all-in-one" plugins. Jetpack won't help you with security and speed. For speed, get a good cache plugin and a fast host. If it's an international site or you are facing major problems with DDOS or similar, use a good CDN.

I stopped using Jetpack a few months ago, and my site loading times improved quite a lot. I probably won't ever use it again, too many features I never used.

I suggest just get individual (lightweight) plug-ins for features you need.
