Getting web traffic from this site

Since I've joined this forum I've magically started getting traffic from this site consistently without even putting my URL's up anywhere on here. Why is that?

i don't know but i noticed the same thing just now, my analytics said blackhatworld was the referrer. i have never mentioned my site on here either and it was from Russia

Yeah that's weird. At first I thought maybe someone was trying to access my control panels or something but I dunno. Guess I'll keep an eye on it.

Nope not at all that's what I thought was extremely weird about it. And I'm getting traffic from here on several of my websites. Strange to say the least.

Yeah I haven't PM'ed anyone as I used to be a member but it's been quite some time so I set up a new account to start fresh. Plus I couldn't remember my login stuff regardless but all these are new sites which wouldn't have remotely come from here regardless. I'm gonna keep an eye on things at any rate.

Same here, but I just added a rule to my firewall to block all traffic from this site as a referrer. Ain't nobody got no time for that.

Also - the traffic is coming from Saint Petersburg and Moscow.

Those are bot Traffic, Just filter them out.

some peoples search with your profile name, but yes, BHW is a magic for traffic

Those are bot Traffic, Just filter them out.

This is not about that, filtering will not answer the question why
