Maybe it's already been said in this thread, but just wanted to give an FYI that all these Web Hosts are actually the same company and service. They just sort of smack a different logo picture onto the control panel, as well as have their own sales page. They're all part of the "Endurance International Group" which run about 80 different domains for Web Hosting. They pretty much run the industry, up there with the other giants like Godaddy and Network Solutions (which also happens to be owned by Register.com / Web.com)

Actually I'd say 2009 is more correct. I don't even think the original owner did Web Hosting. In 2009, Endurance bought them (just the domain name I believe) and made iPage into a Web Hosting company.

Actually I'd say 2009 is more correct. I don't even think the original owner did Web Hosting. In 2009, Endurance bought them (just the domain name I believe) and made iPage into a Web Hosting company.

Yeah that is true. However it's not only in the web-hosting industry but rather in all industries in general, take a look :)

Haha yeah that's true and it's interesting to see that all layed out. Although at least they are providing different products (most of the time). When it comes hosting, it's the same servers and support and everything. I'm not hating though, I actually use and like their hosting too(when I don't require VPS). But I just feel the need to be nosy and inform people :p I actually used to work for Endurance. A decent job, but had some odd moments. Like when we'd buyout a company, and migrate everything over to our systems... I'd get a whole bunch of calls from people who were IRATE because we messed up their website. We'd fix it, but sometimes it would take a while, and they'd cancel anyways, saying that our support sucks.

Then... a few minutes later get a call back from the same customer, but through a different brand. Wouldn't recognize my voice, and they'd be praising how much better our company is compared to the last company. I've literally had people tell me that the last person (me) that they spoke with was an asshole, but that I've been very pleasant and knowledgeable.

They would Google "best web hosts", which is...fake... just a bunch of affiliate marketers posting whatever companies have the highest commissions. Funny how when iPage.com started in 2009, overnight it jumps to the #1 position of all the lists. That was because they announced to all their affiliates that instead of the regular $100 commission per signup, that they'll be giving $125 for iPage.. I guess as sort of a "grand opening" for iPage.

Ohh.. and then there's the "unlimited disk space".. haha Trying to explain to people that had their websites shutdown for using too much space that it's only unlimited "for small/medium business sites" or "within reason".

Fun stuff.

Pretty interested. Never realized that it was the same support/team for all companies, presumed they each had their own divisions.

Funny story with the support calls ha, people get very emotional real quick so they make illogical decisions. The worst decisions are made while a person is emotional, because logic goes away.

So thanks Luksb. You publish how to create a niche site step by step. You give us real information. Which is important for us. Every website for create first to need a domin and hosting. Than install wordpress. Content is most important is every site that is eunique. 50+ content is best. Then need to backlink
