Will new API rule put an end to follow/unfollow?

Hi folks

New update this morning - Crowdfire and Iconsquare already implemented the changes;

Starting today, Crowdfire can no longer support the following Instagram features -

• Non Followers
• Fans
• Recent Unfollowers
• Recent Followers
• Friend Check
• Whitelist
• Blacklist

I don't understand this article... I understand that I can't use Crowdfire now, but can you follow/unfollow manually now?

This is what I'm trying to get to the bottom of. What will this actually affect? I suspect I can't pull up a list of people not following me back and unfollow them.

And I never said "Instagram is dead" I asked a perfectly valid question based on a new update. Possibly you can explain your "all Instagram bots" will still work statement rather than pulling me up about something I didn't actually say?

My instagram is dead was reffered to 1st reply, anyhow massplaner, followliker and similar bots don't use official instagram API.
They work by simulating application login.

Nothing will happen with Instagram, only with this others sites that login to IG on your behalf.

IG still shows users who followed or unfollowed you, and has made it easier for users to check the name of an account to see if they are following or not.

Basically for manual methods you should keep a list of people from where you got the followers (i did it anyways for unfollowing private accounts that did not accept my follow request) and just unfollow them from there. Although it means manual journeys are a little bit slower now
