Why is Adsense Allowing This?

I'm not an Adsence pro but it doesn't take one to know Google or any of its products will never support piracy or copyright infringement. Porn is beyond question.

I recently came across two websites that is very well and explicitly connected to piracy and still serving Google ads.

1) IPTorrents - A very well known private tracker that distributes pirated, ripped movies, series, software and even porn.

Here's the screen of its homepage serving Google ads:
FGv3VF1

2) Sparrowpics - This is an image host. It has no content whatsoever. Its being used by some guys at Extratorrent (Example: https://extratorrent.cc/profile/Simmoncelli/). He is basically uploading ripped movies and setting up the screenshots here in the adsense using image host.

I checked the Alexa -
http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/sparrowpics.com

Global Rank
globe-sm.d0f76e3d37b3db1f5de9a369b65ac33c.jpg
26,951

It gets around 15-20k visitors everyday and with a decent CTR it would make atleast $15 everyday?

My questions are:

1) Ofcourse Google knows where the traffic to the ads are coming from. So why are theyallowing it?
(These sites are using for a long time)

2) How did Google approve a domain with no content? If you check Sparrowpics there is no written words / so there's no keyword / how is Google targeting ads?

P.S~ Not sure if this was the correct section.
Tried to create within the Adsense forum but couldn't.

The ever-reliable iptorrents. I assumed that they have several cycling Adsense accounts and when one gets banned, they use another already approved ad group. Though, I also considered that they may have a friend who works in the approval department that pushes their ad approval process through.

Numerous examples have been made if you go on searching-

http://popuppirates.com/google/

Some sites are banned some are not. Even if IPT is uisng many accounts Google should just ban the domain from showing their ads and that would be it.

Advertisers are losing a lot of $$$ on this. The main point not being a site that violates some law - that matters ofcourse but its about conversion - thats what ads are about. Basically torrent or warez traffic hardly converts if its about buying anything online. I've been through this, for them it's like everything in the world is free for the taking. This mentality is hard to monetize.

First of all, if the users are legit then advertisers might not be losing a penny, quite the contrary, these may be highly profitable crowds.

Secondly, why are you policing Adsense? I mean it's a private company and Google can take good care of themselves as we know.

Thirdly, maybe people are targetting these domains on purpose via google? Namecheap can definitely sell via that torrent site to give one example....

That or they are cloaking or faking ref header info. I remember some movie sites were doing that for like 4-5 figures a day

Definitely plausible with how much traffic that site gets.

I find it hard to believe that they'd defeat all the Google traps and achieve this. I'll investigate this further.

EDIT: These are password protected sites. Where do you see that screen with adsense in it?

Maybe true. But as I said about their mentality - I started earning online as an uploader. Torrents etc. Had tons of traffic that I couldn't monetize. Can do it again but trying to learn legit IM stuffs instead of stealing.

*Secondly* - I'm had no intention of policing. I had a doubt and used this opportunity to ask. Do you realize how someone with the correct resources can earn big money from this? You gave in some ideas yourself.

Thank you for being involved.

Yes IPT is a private tracker. I have an account - some friend invited me. You get invites if you donate.
Extratorrent is public site anyone can access. If you check this user's torrents - all the descriptions have the sparrowpic links - https://extratorrent.cc/profile/Simmoncelli

You brought up an interesting research subject. I'm gonna look into this later, today I couldn't find the time. There is something I'd like to test in the coming days.

Can you find more such sites? Where adsense is rolling but shouldn't? Maybe this would give us a better idea at what's going on.

Not many but I see this quite extensively used in Extratorrent.

For example - extraimage.net - Used by most mods, and power users there for screenshots etc.
USED HERE -https://extratorrentlive.com/torrent/5337618/Allied+2016+HDCAM+x264+AC3+HQMic-CPG.html

Or even people using free wallpapers - Using imgpile.com - another image host.

Sometime these uploaders upload Selena Gomez wallpaper or some hot celeb stuff that gets a lot of clicks that shows Adsense as well.

There are always such sites like these when talks Adsense allow or not allow, indeed, you can even find some porn-related sites/adult with adsense on it, question is, they are big enough and will hardly being cloned again, like 9gag, *****, etc, they just CAN!

Or some sites completely in other story like PHP said, they dont give a shit about BAN, just apply another one, and hope dont get ban again.

PS: I think you know when you got an adsense account, you can simply use the code on any site right? So the trick is, sparrow site isn't necessarily the applying site, just got code on it.

Maybe these site are spending big money in adwords and due to it Google relax their policies.
If only show google ads sometimes, they could be using other ad platforms. Some platforms combine the annoying spam ads with yahoo or google ads.

If I remember correctly, Adsense has a group of publishers whom they refer to as Premium Publishers. Apparently these guys have been around for long time and have been earning hefty incomes from Adsense. These guys can use adsense on p*rn, gambling etc.

Kindly correct me if I'm wrong.
