Are you saying a live video on Facebook of Pewdiepie's subscribers going up gets a lot of views and is, therefore, a way to gain followers? Pretty hard to interpret what else you could mean here. That almost sounds worse to watch than his actual videos though...

What does it take to be an adult? I'm still not sure as I don't feel like one despite approaching 30 with my own house and my own business :| No one teaches you this stuff so I may as well as strangers on the internet...

No I don't. But some of my gamer friends do.
I only watch people play video games if I'm stumped on how to get past a certain spot in a video game I'm in.
But just to sit around and watch a video waiting for a man to scream like a little girl? Fuck that. I can kick a guy in the balls and get the same reaction. In fact, it'd probably be funnier.

I don't really like Pewdiepie and only watch a handful of his videos but I don't get it what you mean with him not being an adult.
He's obviously not like that in real life, he's just acting to attract his viewers, actors and actresses also adopt personas when working, if an actor plays the role of a mentally handicapped guy, does that make the actor himself retarded?
