PS: English isn't my first language so please bare with me.

First of all i would like to start by saying Thank You BHW !! You guys rock.

I will try to keep it simple and straight to the point, I won't reveal my website or my niche so please don't ask that.

Monetization Method: Affiliate Marketing

What i have done so far:
Domain registered (Nice brandable name)
Hosting: Done (Wordpress Installed) For starters i will be using Free Theme
Content: So far i have 4 articles on this website (2 of them are product reviews)
I plan to add atleast 200 articles on this website 35 of them will be product reviews, rest will be tips/tricks and guides.

To do list:
Research topics for general articles
Setup Social media profiles (Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus & Youtube channel)
Create couple of intro videos

I won't start any kind of link building untill i have 50 posts on this website.

I already have couple of websites ranking in this niche but they are Churn & Burn Projects.

I will update this thread twice a week and will try to post as much details as i can but if you have any questions please feel free to ask.

TBH this is the first time i am working on authority website i am more of rank and bank guy, Let see if i can succeed.

Would love to hear some advice from fellow members.

Best of luck with your journey!
Do you write content by yourself or you will outsource it ?

How long will the articles be?

What link building/ seo will you do?

Good luck :)

Thanks mate,
As i have mentioned i am not really good with english so i have no option but to outsource all content related stuff, I have found couple of good writers in Market Place have been using them for quite sometime now.

I forgot to mention the cost in OP
For product reviews i will be paying $20 a piece & general tips and tricks article will cost somewhere between $8-$12

Do you mind sharing the marketplace like Upwork, Hirewriter or so on...
My marketplace experience isn't that good.

Already placed order for product reviews, finalizing the topics for general articles.

Link building is my favorite part, I have designed a custom SEO Strategy that has been working great on Churn and Burn sites, but this is different i will start slow and keep it natural by only targeting brand and generic anchors.

I love diversification, to me this is most important part of SEO.

Will share all the details as we reach the link building phase.

Thank you for following my journey :)

I think you'll regret not starting link building until you have 50 articles.

More content = Can take more punishment.

If you pump content every 1-2 days you should be fine by starting with backlinks after the first week ,1-3 daily, after the end of the first month start with 5 daily etc

Thanks for the advice spectrejoe, I am more of a hardcore link builder :D
The Strategy i have planned for this website has three phases

First Stage: Diversification Anchors and Link Platforms
Second Stage: Social Buzz {Press Release/ Event Links/ Petitions}
Third Stage: Tiered link building {Using Web 2.0, Article Directories, Document Sharing sites, & more} PBN Links (Personal network 50 domains)

Everything will be done manually and with unique and readable content.

Damn nice man.

50 Domain PBN if only I had PBNs I'd be able to rank so much easier >.< Sucks that all the money I'm making I gotta spend cuz I'm on a tight spot atm. Maybe in 3-4 months I'll start building my own PBN although I always have some doubts wether it's worth it or not ~15$ per domain on the first month + monthly / yearly fees + all the work needed to properly set them up.

Whether or not its worth it all depends on how much per conversion and number of visitors. Got to find those high $ items

I would be keeping a watch on your journey. I am also more into short term ranking and never could do authority website but its a long time wish

Good Luck on your journey. Maybe you can also give an overview of how much you have spent so far. Always nice to see the initial investment and then the revenue you will make after some time

Expect the best. Prepare for the worst. Capitalize on what comes. ;)

Good luck mate!

Looking forward to following along here - i'm working on an authority site too though I don't have quite the SEO experience you have! Good luck!
