Dropshipping Meathead Method : Abandoned Checkout

Hey guys, I've been trying meathead method that involves putting up a product for free and charging for the shipping, so I basically found a necklace that costs 0.99 cents and it's related to a popular tv series and added it for free to my Shopify store and charged 9.99 for the shipping . I have a method that I can bring very targeted people for a cheap price, 7 dollars and I brought 500 users to my store . I noticed that from the 500 users , 250 added it to their carts and none of them actually paid for the shipping. Is my public too young ? I'm targeting girls from 13 to 21. Any ideas on how can I improve this ? If they all had checked out my profits would have been like 1300. Thanks

Yeah I think one of the reason is because your audience is too young. You need to target people from 25-30+.

Never mind , the problem was with the shipping it wasn't giving the option. Enabled it and started to get orders

Because it`s the method ... You offer the product for free and charge the shipping for a lot more .

Also if you are targeting 13 yo girls I am not sure if they already have a paypal account? Or what is your payment method?

Also 500 clicks for $7, wondering what promotion method is that, because no way to get this with facebook, instagram or reddit. at least not with paid ads.
