There is some guy I know online now he offers he will pay me 20% ROI tomorrow if I pay him 2,000$ to paypal now altho I know the guy for a while it does sound fishy no doubt the question is since it's paypal how protected am I ? is there a chance I will get fucekd if I do it ?
Need your advise and if I can chargeback worst case scenario .

Either you will have to prove that the transaction happened through unauthorized person or you can claim chargeback from credit card issuing bank

My best recommendation will be to avoid, you should not be greedy when it comes to losing the entire $2K. But in case if you still go ahead, do not pay as a gift.

If he provides me all his documents a voice authorization and all those things would it guarnatee my safety?

What is he supposedly doing with the money? Putting it all on black?

I mean, if you can make >20% ROI per day on whatever capital you have, you probably wouldn't need a $2,000 loan from some random dude you know online.

tl;dr: Probably scam.

Smells SCAM , Buddy , but if you know that guy closely , do it . dont Deal with International F***kers.

But that's not the point of my topic I know that it's 90% a scam but for the 10% of the benefit of doubt if I do it how easy would it be to chargeback ?

I'd lend money to only people I know, even then the money doesn't come back most of the times. Random guy asking for a paypal loan with a high yeild promise? Stay away.

he take your money >> WD to bank
for you... paypal will ask you lot's question regarding your transaction.. if found suspicious activity from you... yeah.. say good bay with your money..
paypal maybe think you and your friend cheating paypal.. because you have relationship with him.

I'm pretty sure you're protected. It's one of the reasons why buying bitcoin with PayPal is frowned upon over at the btc forum. You can do a chargeback fairly easily. I wouldn't lend that amount to anyone, though. I.I'm as niggardly as they come. My ass is so tight, I squeak when I walk. :()

But the question is even if it's a scam and can be dont to get 100% chargeback

If that money is sitting in your PayPal account and you send it to him, you'll probably never see it again.

If the money you send him through PayPal is from a credit card, you can do a chargeback.

Well at least ask him how he will get the ROI. 2 grand is no joke, and you have full rights in knowing where it goes.

However, I still wouldn't risk it.

how easy would it be to chargeback ?
With PayPal? It's always a gamble.
If you need to ask, the chances are that the other guy knows PayPal chargeback processes better than you and you'll get screwed in the process.

When 100% of the people tell you that it's a scam, it more than likely is.

dont lend money to anyone
Said by no loan shark ever. lol

When so many wise person advising you not to, why you are behind giving it (when you only are accepting it to 90% scam). Just avoid it, getting back from paypal is long process and based on all documentation. And if luck runs out of your favor, you will look an idiot
