Hey guys,
So I have a Facebook closed group who are followers of my popular Twitch gaming streams. The group has been growing over the years and it currently has a member total of 22,000.
I have a website that has finally been approved for Google Adsense and was hoping to divert my followers to click the ad on my website. I only preach verbally during my streams and tell the audience to help out by clicking the ad instead of donating, and for the 1 day of streaming that I did this, I generated ~ $365 USD with ~910 impressions and 340 clicks. I removed the ad however immediately as I realized that the CTR was through the roof. Not to mention, this site never generated that kind of impressions before and so I figured that that would raise a huge red flag for Google.
It has been a week or so, and it seems I have yet to be issued a ban, so I think I am safe for now.
Is there any way to successfully monetize this long-term?
All my traffic is organic and real, but I feel my main issue would be the crazy high CTR % along with the sudden increase in impressions that would be the red flags.
My questions are:
1.) Is there any way to use my followers' to hopefully monetize this method for the long-term?
2.) Are there any other red flags that I should worry about? I feel like the huge spike in impressions and the high CTR % would be the big ones.
3.) I would preferably like to keep the clicks similar. Is there any way to lower the CTR %?
4.) Not to mention my followers now without even me telling them would click the ads as they think it helps support my streams and it beats them donating their own money towards my streaming. This skyrockets my CTR % that would get me auto banned, hence is there any way you guys can see that I can keep this going? Or is my best bet now to just stop using Adsense?
Thanks guys.
