Hello Friends,

Im trying to figure out the "Key word research" and how its done. Can anyone briefly tell me what is it? why we should do it? and how to do it? im planning to start a website but i have no clue about keyword researching. I also have purchased a plan from MOZ (moz pro) medium plan. I got a great offer for the plan so i bought it.

these are what i get:

Campaigns
--------------
10 Tracked Sites
750 Tracked Keyword Rankings
500,000 Crawled Pages
Branded Reports

Keyword Explorer
------------------------
5,000 Keyword Reports/Month
30 Keyword Lists

What can i do with these?

Can anyone help me to understand the basics of "Key word research" and help me to build a good SEO website?

Thank you
br

Hi
Thank you so much for the reply. I actually did search and checked few threads. most of them are very old threads(2009-2015). I was wondering things may have changed and there may be new things and different ways/new ways to keyword research.

i will keep searching and even read old threads so i can get an idea and develop the knowledge.

thank you again friend

Keyword research is most important and main part for any website, search engine will rank your website on SERP according to your keywords... so far it is the most important for your website ... First set your niche, do proper anlyisis with the main keywords of your niche you can use Google Keyword Planner, Ubersuggest... or Moz you have purchased for your research.... you will find different sections for your keywords focus on "Search Volume" and "CPC" ... search volume means the user every month search by your keywords and CPC means cost per click basically used for paid SEO (Adwords)... analyse your report .... but i will prefer you to ask for some professional help will be better for you here in Black Hat World you will find as well...

Here is all the info you need + there is good DeepMiner software just for that

Why did you buy a Moz plan when you don't even know what to do with it?

The only thing that has changed is that if you relied on the Google Keyword Planner to do keyword research, you'll now need to have an active campaign running to see the keyword results (otherwise, it'll display data ranges).

If you're looking for a recent guide, my most recent On-Page SEO guide was posted back in August. However, I don't go in-depth on the keyword research part.

it would be helpful if you told us what your website is about, then we can advise on keyword research

but the basic premise is that you have a website about laptops, your primary keyword is 'laptop', but obviously you will never rank for that term bc its too competitive. so you do keyword research, using moz, semrush, kw planner, etc and type in laptop, and look for variations. you will find terms such as 'cheap laptops' and 'lenovo laptops' all of which are longer tail keywords which you can optimize around. For a brand new site such as yours, you need to go super long tail, and start churning out content based around 4-5 word variations. But again, feel free to drop your keyword here and youl get more assistance likely

Keyword re-search is the act of searching twice.

First time is the search. Then you click again and that's the re-search.

We use it to make sure the first time was correct.

Keyword Research is the Process of Determining what keywords are used in search engines by potential customers.

Use keyword research to find which page of your site is ranking for which keyword.
If that keyword has good search volume, start working on that keyword and try to get your site or page that's ranking on the first position.

My friend
google keyword planner is good
using it check and compare how many people searching your keywords
very less = change keyword
extremely high = change because so many competitors
moderate = use it

i hope this is helpful
