Question for AutoBloggers

Hey,

I've designed an autoblogger for wordpress, its not a plugin, but a complimentary script that you set up by defining the variables, and then running it as a cron job (a cron job is a routine automatic execution of a script, usually set up in your host's cpanel).

I soon would like to market it to make some money back on the time spent in building it up, but before I market it, I'd like to know how competitive it is compared to the other available autobloggers.

What do you (accomplished autobloggers) want in an autoblogger? What are the necessaries that you imagine, and the features you desire?

Here is what the autoblogger can already do so far.

1. automatically detect & embed youtube video.
2. optionally include nofollowed link to original article at end of post
3. automatically detect amazon feeds and attach amazon id to product links.
4. declare how many posts can be inserted per day.
5. filter rss feeds for items that contain your target keywords
6. ignore rss items that contain exclude keywords
7. define up to 8 categories, and sort rss items into those categories, based on keywords. (articles that fit multiple categories are categorized in both)
8. script can be run manually to view lists of accepted and rejected articles within each rss.

I look forward to feedback,suggestions, & requests.

man im looking at the sales page for blog slammer and it looks really nice. I've still never used it.

It would be impossibly hard to compete on terms of quality with this. Still there are options available.

Maybe I can sell mine at a lot cheaper price lol

A shallow link is a link to www.domain.com/

A deep link is to www.domain.com/some_interesting_page/

Comments off, default category, default searchable feed?, all the usual crappy settings that take up time.

I think ive sorted out geo targetting with openx.org, I'm just lazy and didnt want to have to learn how to use it.

I'd prefer all links to be stripped out because I want visitors to click an ad before they leave. Yahoo pipes can do this but its a pain to learn and setup for each feed.

I don't think blogslammer local hosts pictures.

No it doesn't choose random themes & install them. I'd just like a theme server I can throw up 250 themes and have an automatic wget at install time.

Permalinks will make the pages for us on our website but we are sending links to our pages from other websites.

Take this as an example: we are making links from domainA.com (it could be another blog, a comment box, a forum, a twitter comment etc)

Autoblogging script now hosts all images locally, and sets image alt to the name of the file, minus the extension.

If the script recognises that there is already an image stored with the same name, it will auto-generate a new name for the image.

Speaking of names...
Does anyone have any name ideas for this utility?
Pricing ideas?
Have I mentioned that this doesn't work as a plugin, but rather a stand alone configurable script?

Stand alone configurable script will be great. Basically it is MUST since you are putting more content sources /rss/ together, which is GREAT. I would like to see something that can create 1000's keyword based articles. After they are created than they can be posted to blogs through xmlrpc with forexample JT tools /blogposter/. I would also go after ebayRSS than amazon...
Ebay rss, amazon, pics, youtube vids, plus additional text /articles/ in one blog post can bring a lots of "attention" from bots /for linking/ or customers....
