the copying internet articles technique?

like making powerpoint presentation videos out of news articles and top 10 buzzfeed-esque shit.. is it generally safe? like they're legal or just rarely get taken down? i doubt they'd qualify as free-use but it seems to be a popular method here

If you mean curated other sites content, answer is sometimes.

I heard 90% time you wont get any trouble, while other 10% chances you may get a notice they want their content taken down, normally, they (the "copycat" site owner) often link out to original site in case they are facing a bad temper guy (serious?), and this is working like a charm.

But seems that such sites cant do very well on SEO, and you know why, but still lots of such sites driving good traffic from social medias like Pinterest.

Looking at it objectively, if you re-word the words from the videos so they come out unique, you'll be just fine. I mean, there's always a small chance that you'll get that one douche who might report you over and over until Google looks at your site for dupe content, but if it's unique, you're all set.

true it doesn't have to be word for word. i guess it seems like a decent method, requiring not much effort but also involving a small amount of creativity and being your own material while having the potential to go viral/semi-viral. i'll look into it after all thanks

edit: also, i meant 'FAIR USE' in the OP.. god i'm dumb right now
