He doesn't seem all that angry; he even complimented you.
All he's saying is that perhaps you should raise your rates a little so that you make more money and he stands more of a chance in the market. The point he makes about raising your rates to find better clients is valid as well (cheap prices attract cheap clients).

#1: No, I don't want to promote my writing service through this post. But yes if the moderators believe that I am being sneaky and breaking rules, then they have the rights to remove this post and warn me.
#2: Actually it's my fault that I didn't include his other messages. He sent me 3 consecutive emails: the first one was full of rants and swearing, in the second one he called me a "snake oil salesman" and wished me the "worst of luck" and the 3rd one is attached here. I tried my best to keep calm and I replied with "fuck off" in the politest way possible
And no, the guy isn't from here. He is from another community where I offer my services currently.

That guy has a point. He gave you a legitimate advice I think you should have paid for. It matters little whether he sounded like a douche in his former replies or not.
If the quality of your writing is good, then do not sell yourself short in hopes of undercutting the market. Undercharging yourself is sadly myopic, especially if you're not a rookie.
Because:
There are tens of thousands of writers online, offering their services at just about any rate you can think of. And if a writer is good, and his or her service is "appropriately" priced, s/he would have a steady stream of clients. There are enough clients to go round.
And it is true. Higher-paying clients will treat you better than dirt-cheap clients.
I'll quote his last sentence:
"Remember, all of this is sincerely meant to help. If you don't believe that, that's perfectly fine."

Ain't no rival got any business telling you what price to sell.
He is angry because his job just got shipped overseas. Keep your rates steady. Eventually if you have enough volume you can hire people under you and expand into an agency instead of solo. Thus you can provide the same stuff you do at cheaper rates than rivals and still scale up. Thus gaining market share and keeping customers happy.
This is EXACTLY how a free market works. You decrease prices to cut out your competition and increase volumes. What he proposes, if this were a regulated sector, would amount to price manipulation and cartelisation. That would be prosecuted had this been a large regulated field. This is against the core principle of capitalism. Socialism & Communism is for losers.
The whole purpose of the free market is to get better rates for the end user. Customer is king. Hold your ground. Don't increase rates. He's just feeling the burn.. Eventually he would be edged out of the market and be replace by you. Lol

The thing most people are overlooking when posting in this thread: He's trying to get his competitor to raise his rates. What could he gain by using this approach? He could offer a discount on his services while pointing out the increase of the OP's services, which would garner him some more sales.

Here is the screenshot of the first two messages. In the first one (from Sure-- -to- 1.5 cents per word) he directly quoted a sentence from my thread and messaged me. When I replied him that my pricing was perfect he sent the 2nd one (starting from It's not -to- & wishes).
Everyone's entitled to their own opinion. I personally think as there is no governing body in the field of internet marketing, it's entirely up to me to choose the pricing of my services. Plus by having an affordable rate I am actually helping out the new guys who are just starting out in the field of internet marketing.
