I have a local Buy & Sell Facebook Group with 25k people in it. The users are using it to request services from contractors and businesses, and businesses are using it to advertise their services. I would like to have these users start using my website to do these things instead of the Facebook Group. Just wondering if anyone has any unique ideas on how this can be accomplished I am worried I would get quite the backlash if I started telling people to post on my website before I accept it in the group. I am also worried if I start advertising the shit out of my website it will just come off as spammy.

Use stickied posts to promote affiliate offers, Amazon affiliate, clothing affiliate programs, make a website and resell stuff from AliExpress..

Stickied posts don't show up for mobile users unless they ask for that.

I think you'll have a hard time converting them to your site and you'll lose people if they are required to post on your site first.

Make the group a closed group and then set something up to scrape the group and post on your site automatically.

It may take a little work to create a bot/tool but that is the way to go.

I have a website. "I would like to have these users start using my website to do these things instead of the Facebook Group." The Facebook Group is a Job Board. I have a Job Board website. I was looking for some neat ideas on converting these turds to post their jobs on my website Vs. using the FB group.

Yeah I was scared it was going to be difficult.. I have been rattling my brain thinking of ways to do this delicately without losing too many member. It is a job board website so in order for someone to post a job on my website they need to leave behind contact information (have an account, so I don't see scraping working). Was just hoping someone might have a unique strategy or idea. I don't want this 25k group to go to waste if it doesn't have to.

I'm real familiar with that niche; you'll lose them if they have to post on your site to get a post live on your group page.

I'm not sure how you would go about it but I'd hate to see you lose the crowd with a forced join.

Perhaps a "Hey, double your chances at a new {job|employee} by posting here" would get you some action.

wrong - LOL i run about 20 groups all above 70k - there are still money in fb groups - if you are dumb . dont blame groups
I also have two groups 70k and 50 k how do you monetize them ?

Can i monetize my groups through adsense ? same niche too

Thanks a lot I will try this first and see how it goes. Minimal risk this way at least.

I apologize for what might be a dumb question. I run several groups and have been doing it for fun for years. I guess I never really thought about using them for money making as it just didn't occur to me.

My question is: Is it a good idea to run them on your personal account or should I find a way to get another Facebook account to run the groups on?

Also, someone mentioned running adult groups. I have friends who run adult groups and someone is always reporting them for nudity and getting them temp-banned. Is there a good way around this?

Thanks in advance!

How the hell would you do adsense in FB. I have heard it from someone, that he could link the group, but I have never seen this feature. Also, is there such thing as rev-sharing for highly active groups with FB? I have been mod of a group, which is highly active and I really cannot figure out, how they are making money, apart from member-pushs.
