Buying Traffic

Hi Everyone,

I'm not 100% new to IM but I have never "bought traffic" as I see people here on BHW discuss. Does it actually work (clicks/calls/actions), in general, to do that or is it mostly just BS bot traffic?

Give an example of what you mean by buying traffic. Do you mean ppc?

That's initially what I thought when I first started seeing people talk about it too but I don't think its what they mean. It seems some people are paying other individuals to send traffic to their site- I don't know the method they are using but I don't think its ppc.

If you could looking for the traffic such as Adsense then you much need the real traffic, if your buying traffic is from Bot or any coded Fake then it's nothing to help you. If you need the real traffic then focus on social media and build some backlinks from the top authority sites.

That kind of traffic is trash. Visitors won't spend a dime.

Figures- as with everything, if it sounds too good to be true , it certainly is.

You can buy traffic that's targeted for your niche. Good sellers use expired domains and redirect the traffic.
Sellers like you find on micro job sites use bots like jingling for example, so traffic exchange visitors are pretty much useless.
If you want to reduce bounce rate and improve alexa then a good traffic seller can help, but it's not wise to use it with adsense.

It depends on what traffic source you are buying from. As you said, most sources serve bot traffic but you can filter them out.
