the following website is hiding behind cloudflare and those who've ever been in contact with CloudFlare, know those are pretty much scammers who never do anything to release information of hosting providers and pretty much hide it, even though it's illegal to do this and by law they have to forward any complaints.

Anyhow. Can you guys help finding the hosting provider of: hitchhikersgui.de
It doesn't come up with the usual tools and Cloudflare rudely refused to help in any way.

I contacted cloudflare 5 times and they released the hosting info every time. Do you really have a valid and legal request against this site? Because if that's the case, they would release the info already.

I tried to find the host of that site and it looks like they have covered their tracks.

I do. And this is not the first time Cloudflare are being scammers. You can read 100s of online reviews about similar issues. last year I had a website who was trying to hack my website. I contacted them with all the proof and they refused to help at all. Same story - ignore, automated replies, pretending they did not receive it, telling me they are looking into it, and the loop started over. After 6 weeks I gave up. This is why a lot of scammers use cloudflare to hide their hosting provider. We send nearly 1000 dmca notices per year and the worst offenders are always behind cloudflare.

Same goes for spammers. We submitted 20 spam reports over the last year that involved cloudflare and NONE of them were forwarded to the hosting providers. NONE!! Maybe many years ago CloudFlare was legit, but these days many rightfully call it ScamFlare

Sorry to hear that , we never had issue with CloudFlare (maybe because we are partners).
Like umerjutt00 said , they actually provide such info pretty easy.

"pretty much hide it, even though it's illegal to do this and by law they have to forward any complaints."
Actually is not illegal, there are procedures which have to be followed e.g startic with contacting your lawyer.

Sorry to hear about your poor experience with that hosting.
Hope you'll find a better one.

I had not good experience dealing with them and not long ago I switched to hostwinds and their hosting account. I like them.
My site has never encountered slow-down nor has it ever been offline without explanation...

What payment method have you used? With paypal you can try return your money back.

Don't sacrifice security and quality. It is not ideal to jump into affordable web hosts in which in the long run can lead to many problems such as web site accessibility and, worst, shutting down of web site.

If your find cheap web hosting provider then I will tell you http://www.advikaweb.com is the cheap web hosting provider. Please http://www.advikaweb.com

I don't think you can keep calling CloudFlare a scammer. Look at the service they provide.

There're many big guys in hosting industry that you can rely on, however according to me, there're 3 big guys that I usually use to host number of websites on them. 3 of them are Godaddy, iPage and Namecheap.

With Godaddy, I usually get big discounts via email, the most percent discount I've got are 30% off and 25% off on new orders. More, they have a very professional and comfortable control panel that can help me much in my domain management. It's very easy to transfer or renew when I need to do. When my domains get expiring, I've always get notification by them, that's very good.

With iPage, currently they're offering the coupon with a huge discount up to 83% off on hosting, I think that they're one of the cheapest hosting now. Their support also good and fast. The hosting features are good too, with some unlimited resources such as disk space, bandwidth,...

With Namecheap, they have a very good and friendly support team that can help you almost instantly, I've contact them many times and each time was let me very happy and rate them 5 stars in supporting. Namecheap also give monthly coupons that can help you save 10% on domain purchasing and save 25% off on your hosting, VPS purchasing.

So I would like to recommend 3 hosting providers above to you. I hope this helps.

Good luck to you!

LOL, seems like most people on this forum need to learn to read! Seems like 3 lines are too much these days!
