Hi,

I've been going almost every day to my sites information on semrush,
for those of you who don't know what I mean: https://www.semrush.com/info/facebook.com

I wanted to know what is so different in the pro version?
Will I get anymore details I don't see in the free version?

I mean except for the obvious more keywords shown for each domain I look for.

Why would I want to upgrade?

Depends on how do you use that info and how valuable it is for you.
If you're just checking your websites positions, you can enjoy free version
for in depth analysis I'd recommend using pro, it's actually a great tool

I have worked with semrush since 6 months and my opinion is - "It depends". Type of account is "PRO" but during starting next month it will be "GURU".
This tool have a lot of features which are usable if you have larger websites, especially e-commerce, but I feel for smaller sites (ex. Web 2.0 or small PBN) it usabillity is smaller. Why? Because you have to see "number of projects" - 5 it's not much.
In my opinion it's good to mix this tool with maybe serplab and use Semrush for sites which you want to monetize and second tool for PBN / other websites.
And one, very important thing - Semrush works well with german / english keywords but other languages... not so well.
The best features in this tool for me are:
- "keywords" section
- "site audit" (a lot of good on-site stuff here)
- "brand monitoring"
- "SEO Ideas".
BUT - and think it very strong - backlinks audit completly sucks (if you compare it with Majestic). One thing - if you don't work for a client "report generator" is useless (but other hand - if you do - it is cool).
So - if you are from wester europe / US - buy it. If not - I think it is too expensive...
PS Guys - I'm not an english native so.... sorry about mistakes ;)

Can you tell me more about these two?

What can you see in site audit for example that you can't see with screaming frog?

And "SEO Ideas"? what is that? what kind of ideas?
Got any examples bro?

SEMRUSH is really good if you have regular use cases and a few big sites that you work with regularly. Their data is unmatched.

If you don't have regular uses then you could look at alternatives like Mondovo that are pay as you go with no monthly subscription and you can run most reports that you would need for a small/medium website.

And many, many like this...

I don't use it too often, but anytime I want to do some research. I always go to fiverr to grab some -group buy- It only cost $5 for 30 days.

If you can afford it and it is very useful to you then it's well worth it.

I would buy it, but I find it too expensive and I don't need it that much.

Usually the free gives me enough information I need. I have pro and don't really use any of the features.

You can still sign up with fake details, number, name, email (don't need to confirm), password and they give you it free.

You can do it daily takes ten seconds.

I've been doing it for like 3 months.

SEMrush is definitely better than it has ever been before. My team really likes the keyword tool. Rankings are slightly accurate. Good for analyzing competitors too. If you have the extra money, give it a try.

Thanks for all the info guys, @LonghairedPaul - thanks a lot of the specific info

I guess I don't really need it for now but whenever things become more serious for my websites then maybe I'll give it a go.

Thanks!

Just make ten searches, type in any fake name, e-mail, password, and phone number and you'll get everything for free. I've been doing this for few months and it takes less then a minute.

It is crucial if SEO is your main work, not just a hobby for your small personal/business website. In other cases, it depends...
